Are we doing $20 or no? I have a LeagueSafe account set up. All I have to do is give the link, you pay with a debit/credit card-- I distribute the winnings when the time comes. It's all private and safe and doesn't require the honor system.

I vote yes, but also don't care if we don't. So you fellas just let me know asap, ok? I'm tired of going back and forth.
Def and ions -- you'll also have to vouch for your guys.

And on that note-- are yall sure they're going to be locked in for the season? I'm not so worried about def's adult friend but if the little one flakes or starts handing out free wins I'm going to be annoyed.
 
like I said before 20$ or like six sodas.. i’m not even going to bother going through the effort of some guarantee for payment.. i’m playing but i’m clearly not going through that so let me know if this is a problem

The main reason I'm asking is because when you advertise your league on the fantasy football discord server it is recommended you post a leaguesafe link. That way you don't have to rely on the honor of complete strangers. It also ensures that the people playing feel somewhat invested and don't just stop playing two weeks in.

I hear your six soda comments, but what I'm trying to do here is get a consensus. I wouldn't mind $40, but also I'd like $20 way more than zero. Do you see what I'm saying?

Well, in my eyes it's no different from a tackle for loss, it's really just a tackle with extra credit cause it's the quarterback. It's not a turnover or anything.

I don't think sacks should be any higher than 2, if you get too heavy with it, it just skews things. When someone gets a sack, they're already getting whatever points for a tackle as well as whatever the sack points are set at.

Yeah I see this guy all the time, he's always talking about various sports betting or whatever he's doing, so I'm sure he'll be fine.

I'll mention the 20 to him, and see if we can get him on discord. But if he's not up for the bet, since I didn't mention that at the time I invited him, I'll just cover it myself it's no problem.

Not using league safe because they require too much ID shit, and I figured people wouldn't like that.
So honor system same as last year.
Scoring I think is pretty much finalized. So have a look over it.
 
I'm going to vote that we just don't bet at this point.

There's too many separate entities playing that aren't on the site, some can't agree on a value and are saying they won't use a third party, mals first year commish, etc.

We said these at the same time.

But yeah I mean is ions guy gonna be able to pay? Idk it just wasn't settled when I invited a lot of people and I feel bad springing on them and I also don't want to be responsible for all of that either

I think ions said he'd cover for his, or he was good for it or something to that effect.

If yours can't or won't do $20 , that's obviously an issue. I didn't know you hadn't mentioned it to them already. Do you think they'd have a problem with it or potentially not pay up if they lose?

Idc either way. Just trying to bridge the gap between those who are pushing for it versus those who are pushing against it.

If we could get everyone on discord or on the espn group chat to talk that would solve all of our issues.

I guess it just isn't settled yet so I didn't think to mention any specific amount of bet when inviting, just trying to get the spots filled with people who know football.

But I'll ask, 20 is definitely an easier sell than 40 I just feel like a dunce going back.

The league will be all fucked up with 9 teams right like we have to have 10 right?

Yeah we need ten but I'm not worried. I think I can easily fill it through discord.

I mean just ask if they're cool with it. If they say no it's not a huge deal. My number one priority is getting ten active managers who want to play and won't ghost. (Tbh the $20 is mostly an anti ghosting precaution imo)
