Reddit has banned many drug subs today

Yeah, I have to correct my previous comment. I joined reddit just to see if this was true; and created a harm reduction sub (r/notsick) it was banned in 10 minutes. There is a sweeping wave of fascism hitting the web lately.

Except they don’t even allow the discussion of fentanyl, AT ALL. Yet equipotent (and more potent) nitazenes are allowed to be freely talked about.

It’s a good concept, but they have their heads up their asses about some stuff. Very “holier than thou” attitudes when it comes to any drugs besides psychedelics, weed, and some stimulants.

Yeah, I noticed that too, a bunch of those harm-reduction subs disappeared without much warning. Reddit seems to be tightening its policies across anything they consider borderline, even if the communities were mostly about support and information. I was actually talking about this with someone at SEO Discovery recently, and they mentioned how platforms are getting more aggressive with moderation overall. It’s a shame, because those spaces genuinely helped people stay safer.
 
The weird part( in America, this is one of the only things they ( both major parties) agree on.

Drug war 2.0. Obama led the charge and both sides said yes, basically; to cracking down on drugs( bad pun intended)lol

Funny how the war on prescription opiods, with an ever decreasing amount allowed to be manufactured.

Started with Obama. Then Fentanyl came around.🤔
Under Obama. The right followed. The democrats led the war on pain patients and other substances!LMAO( the irony).
Then came 100,000 plus annual death tolls.😱

This is just a game to some people. Other peoples lives.🤬

I think it is both sides trying to: Thin the herd. Less junkies; less crime. Besides, they waste the cops time. Waste, community resources. So go after pain patients. Or something, like that.

Something is up and it is bad.

Well, without going into detail, there are very good reasons why part of the Bluelight user agreement is 'No synthesis discussion'. Now, obviously if an academic paper is in the public domain, it's not aiding anyone seeking to synthesize a novel compound.

I avoid Reddit but someone mentioned a novel compound and it turned out that someone had essentially set themselves up as an 'expert' in the field of drug design. Plot twist - were not.

Now I presume if a freely accessible academic paper already details a synthesis, it's not really a secret. But if someone here were to provide a detailed synthesis of a novel compound, we would rightly be blamed if that novel compound later caused harm.

I'm sure it will come as a surprise to noone that said 'expert'... wasn't. Or at least made the classic mistake of thinking an animal model of a psychoactive was clear proof of qualitative activity in man. I'm constantly in a state of doubt because that is how science works, so it's ever so dangerous for someone to assert a guess as a factual statement. I hope I always flag the limitations of any paper I cite. Because I'm at least as good at being wrong as anyone else.

That's not true, what you bark online can bite you back later. I know because it also happens in non-ghetto scenarios such as online gossip about other things excluding political. Also I have to be sincere ay, I know a boxer who fucked someone up because somebody spoke empty flappers, and therefore it wasn't inevitable not TO.

Plus be careful because discord gathers and keeps the data, other platforms such as IRC do not because is less centralized. Matrix can possible be a option too for power users who have serious business but without big money talk online.

discord is also prone to google failures so if one server slowdown so does the other l because their server are cached through theirs(Data collection, discussions collectives, versions of enterprises) so on.
 
And yes reddit changes is what is, it did ever since the convention mentioned that gore related subs should be under GOV watch and is a positive approach because there's nothing interesting about human torture or slicing things in half ;)

This is the thing. If a traditional media outlet published such things, the editor(s) is/are legally responsible. But it seems the legal responsibility for hosting such things are weak at best. THAT is what concerns me.

I admit I only learned of 764 a couple of months ago but on one hand people are quite reasonably complaining that their legal right to privacy on-line is infringed but at the same time it appears that it's taken YEARS to unpick the example I gave. I have no doubt that it will simply result in cosmetic changes and carry on.
 
Sure, the mind hive(default uploader) should hold up the right for what was posted and be passed on through the law if it has any zig-zags. Deviantart was responsible for a lot of illegality at one point in time and the founder of reddit knew but had to be obliged by an actual gov institution to monitorize what is uploaded. On reddit there is really nothing of VALUE, none. Is just how HI5 turned into dating website from the "Little Facebook", same is Reddit. It was meant to be a actual massive online forum but took turns and twirls by.

Years much ago I've had written a little script to improve marginal typing errors and it was converted into "receive email alerts" this was meant to decrease the cuss words and this way was easier to identify than the alghoritm bot plus without the user ever knowing the effect, but reddit, took it out, and that was it. I had my money but even today the script was indirectly implemented so to say.

It was when I was still for non enterprise active and was universal in my field, now am only on serious matters.

That maybe part of it, seriously. Also euthanasia is talked about by politicians once in a while.

Doctors in at least one country have offed, people who didn't want to die.( legally) Who didn't want to die, the doctor just decides.

Also, Holland is know to kill people. Doctors have and do kill people who didn't request it. They decide.

People get murdered, it is a bad slippery slope.

Then those who are mentally ill, elderly, dementia patients who are healthy but not mentally well.

I really hate the idea. There are other countries who will kill ,the doctors, sometimes decides.

The doctors would be killed here and possibly get their familes killed in America,;if they started behaving like doctors in Holland. Holland and the doctors killed without consent.

Americans would do the same to the doctors and possibly their families.

Many would repay the favor. Bad slippery slope in some places.

What about those that don't want to live. The healthy ones. If a healthy person really wants to die they don't need a doctor or a gun.

Gravity kills. If they really want to die tell'em go jump of a building. ( literally)

I am sick now, and have medical problems and I am almost 50, I ain't taking on a boxer. It, would be self defense and send a clear message.

I am not risking my life. If it is him or me. I choose him. I could die, but then again if heccame at me at my place, Self Defense.

You play you pay( health wise; so a much younger guy who is a boxer hunting you down), and you shoot him; Self Defense.
