Watching Intervention. The Current episode is S03E14 - Pam (Alcohol) and she constantly drives when drunk. And I mean WASTED, not just after a couple drinks. The producers even intervene (which they VERY rarely do) offering to drive her and she will not have it.

I just don't understand why people drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs? I was severely alcohol dependant (a liter of vodka and 3 or 4 bottles of wine a day) for 8 years and deliberately never got a drivers ,license or a car in order to make SURE I never did that.
Putting your OWN life in danger while fucked up is one thing, but with the driving, you could easily kill innocent people.
What makes anyone think that is acceptable?

If anyone on here have drove while heavily intoxicated, I'd love to hear WHY, or what excuse you have yourself (I promise I won't be an asshole to you, even if I AM low-key judging you lol)

I can only speak from personal exp but the main reason here ppl drive even they know there fuct is:
To show of there car
To have a drag race
To show off to females
And when you past a certain level or limit, you just don't care..

I would only drive while high on cocaine. I’m aware of how incredibly stupid that was.

I’d drive sober too… but not drunk. Stopped doing that in my early 20s after an ex boyfriend got killed by a drunk driver.

Personally, I didn’t care because I couldn’t care or I didn’t remember. It was never about showing off for me. I was too dumb to show off even if I wanted to

You can't. No one can. 😉 ..... And then you get caught. 💔

Just saying. I hate the stuff. Yes, I said hate.

🍻

Coke might help. Or just coke only. 😉 But no. No alcohol is good for driving.

A beer sure. But who does that. Pop a top at the last minute in the drive way

is even better. 🍺

I'm the drinking nag cunt. 🙁 Oh I just want to say it one more time. I hate it. 🤣

That's okay. Jagermeister and Amaro helps settle thee stomach.

Edit : Just coke only. 🥤 😉😉

I would rather drive on coke than alcohol .... in any lifetime.

Don't do it. But Definitely Don't Drink And try to Drive.

If they do it's because they dumb, they in denial, or they think they can do anything they want to.
And DO NOT understand that it will not turn out good .... even if they don't care.

Maybe. Dumb luck does happen though.
Anyway. Don't Drink And Drive. And think that you can !!!

A former friend of mine is like this. He used to drive drunk so often that the last time he was convicted they called him a serial drunk driver. Hes done time multple times once from running from the police when he was drunk

Guys a fuckin moron

If I didn't realize I was impaired I would go "Eh that substance sucked". There is fugue state level blackouts certainly though and if they were offering to drive I gotta presume she was blacked the hell out and that little attitude just comes with her.

Real answer -- Because you usually get away with it and you are playing a mental game of risk v rewards while intoxicated..

paranoid -- oh yeah I've been in a few cars that you need to blow clean to start the engine lol (How did you end up here)

Different countries, different scenarios..

But here guys mostly in there 20-30 like driving under the influence but like I stated it's more of a show off thing.

30+ drunken drivers are mostly those that wanna feel young again but at the same semi know when to slam on the brakes and most of them are aware of the detours that need to be taken to evade roadblocks

Then the 40+ guys are normally the major show offs with there fancy cars and shit and they cause an accident In the parking lot before even leaving lol.

Then the 45-50yr old range with fancy cars but don't off with the car but let the car speak for itself ( for exp a Lamborghini).

Anyhow. No matter the age and shit if alcohol is involved, it's gonna end badly and tou might just wake up in jail the next morning with 3rd degree homicide or worse...

I don't think most people set out to drunk drive but instead are thinking about having a good outing with friends, then by the end of the night they are intoxicated to the point of not considering the possible consequences.
I got away with it for 20 years and used to love having a buzz and cruising while bumping my jams but then the local laws changed and the clubs/bars closed later and all the sudden almost everyone I knew got a dui including myself plus my liver was showing signs of stress from alcohol/acedimidiphine so I quit drinking and have not touched alcohol since ( 10 yrs ago )
I now look at things differently and dispise drunk driving honestly...

Was I being selfish, yes .. nothing I can say about that
