First, lets be clear, I know how extremely dangerous Fent is. The Moderators have shared horror stories so yes, I am extremely well aware of its risks. I bought a bunch of it about 8 months ago and rarely take it. I've abused alcohol (and other drugs when younger) but have never been addicted to Opiods (and want to keep it that way). I've had Covid for almost a week now and took 1 Oxy when it was really bad and then another day took 1 Tramadol. For the people who might freak out hearing Covid/Opiods, that is a total of 2 pills over 5 days.
I am getting over Covid (resting but also doing some housework) and last night I got a cough and a headache. I know codeine and Oxy are very effective for treating a cough, but didn't take anything except some Nyquill and went to sleep.
I was wondering, if I got a severe cough and headache (if you have been hit hard by both at one time, as I was one time when I had pneumonia you know how bad it can be) do Tramadol and or Fent cure a cough the way that codeine and Oxy do? I actually have Oxy's, but I save those like a miser for someday when I really need them.
I am fine right now, but in case my cough worsens want to know my options. I have a bunch of the Fent so I would rather use that or a Tramadol if they work on severe coughs.
