Anyway back with a new user name .
Long time , well funded ( untill the end) heavy fentanyl ( poly ) user for a long time that finally made it out and have 8 weeks clean and starting to feel decent again. I have some wild drug related stories and lots of knowledge on the subject so I'm hoping to lend helpful and safe information to peeps in the forums..

T in southern AZ also Nashville.

Yessir. I'm currently in Nashville for a few months . Had to take myself out of the drug saturated southwest for a bit ,otherwise getting / staying clean would have been impossible. From what I see in my travels and online, drugs are by far cheaper there, then anywhere in the country.
Yep, Tucson is my hometown. I would probably still be on H if I never left. So much cheap, readily available dope there its crazy.

Thank you. It was God awful getting through detox but I went 200miles out of town and didn't bring my car so I kinda set myself up to not fail.. then I immediately drove east to avoid going right back to the same cycle.... Fell asleep crossing Texas hitting a median at 110 and losing the last of my possessions... hitchhiked the rest of the way with only the. Clothes on my back finally ending up an hour from town in the country without transportation and that helped the first few weeks when the cravings where insane..
Still got a long way to go but this week ( number 9) I'm actually feeling normal again. 👍

Ha ! Bump Cause Im back...lost another phone and relapsed...or relapsed then lost the phone. Anyways.. back on track with 90 days under my belt again.

Hell yeah man, 90 days, id be absolutely proud of that.

Your dopamine is still banking up though, don't give up, stay busy, pick good friends, just what id do personally you likely have your own strats.

Nice to meet you!

Welcome and congrats on your success. I am constantly amazed by human resilience and fortitude when we are in survival mode.

Curious, was there a defining moment when you decided to get clean?

Id say Rock bottom.. at first, after detox in AZ, I was driving across country to try to get away from my surroundings and try to get clean in at my son's house in TN and I fell asleep at the wheel and smashed into the median at well above freeway speeds.. standing by the freeway in the middle of nowhere with what was left of my belongings strone across the freeway was when I thought things couldn't get worse .... but they did.. I ended up in Nashville relapsing a few months later sleeping in my car ( not the one I crashed )
Strung out untill I ended up detoxing from fentinyl in jail ( my worst nightmare)
Then I got an opportunity to go to an actual rehab and was able to keep on the path . Now im well over 2 months clean and feeling good .
