It’s not well studied because they don’t care. The drugs are designed to persist in the body essentially forever. I mean, not exactly, but the taper of elimination lasts forever. When someone prescribes you this injection it’s with the intention that you take the medication lifelong.If its gone, I would be back to 100% premed,right? How long do you think it would take? I think I might have asked this before, sorry the drug affected my mind.
They prescribe it a lot at mental hospitals because it can prevent relapse of schizophrenia symptoms and psychosis for a really really long time even if you don’t get a 2nd shot. The injections are very powerful.
So to answer your question I can only guess based on the fact that there are people on here and Reddit who claim they have recovered. But my best estimate is if you got 1 injection it’ll take up to 18 months for you to recover and if you got more than that it will take a few years.
