5-htp, l-theanine, ashwaganda

Been trying this stack for a while (seeing as I cant get any proper drugs since archetyp went down..). I sometime add a pinch of morphine for giggles. Really impressed with the 5-htp and l-theanine in particular - really get a nice happy feeling in your noggin.

I also get a better wifi signal when using this combo.
 
Yeah there is a bit of lemon balm in the l-theanine. I find I don't need to take quite as much terpenes if I use that stack - which is useful as the terpenes are £40 a bottle. Just creates a really relaxed peace of mind vibe.

I did have a recurring dream last night - the garden was fire. I kept going back outside saying "Fuck me I thought I'd put this out" and then starting to throw water on it again.
 
5htp seems to be something of a minefield judging by the first few returns of a Duck Go Go search. That is if your dopamine is already imbalanced due to ADHD, and if you're already taking SSRIS / SNRIs. I'll probably continue to dodge that one, but glad it's of benefit to someone.

I have previously tried l-theanine but noticed absolutely nothing. I used it every day for 60 days or however many was in the tub. Perhaps you have to use it as part of a "stack".

And Ashwaganda, I've heard several people rate it, but for the price, you may as well get 'proper' (pharmaceutical) drugs, if you can.

I dunno though, I'm probably being a bit overly sceptical and may look into some kind of stack that doesnt fuck with what im already taking. I suspect that it might end up becoming more and more complicated, the more I find out. :rolleyes:

Cod liver oil, high in and EPA and DHA is by most accounts great for brain health, blood pressure, and many other benefits. You need to remember to take it consistently every day though. Something which I struggle with massively for some reason.

Failing that I swear that just taking a good multivitmain after my evening meal, especially if only done occasionally, has me feeling better than normal the next day, both mentally and physically. Many of us probably have micro deficiencies or something more significant, so most of this stuff is probably going to help.

There's probably some symbolism there, if you're into that kind of dream analysis thing?

The most obvious interpretation seems to be that you had a pretty urgent and important issue that needed resolving.

If you're still having that dream now, months later, I'd be very worried :LOL:

I've been experiencing really long dreams over the last few months. I think that's a good thing, as one of the negative side effects of benzos is that they can disrupt REM sleep, which can affect your memory and learning, and your general mental wellbeing, IIRC. It might be because I'm gradually reducing my night time benzo dose.

But as I don't really believe in dream analysis I never make any attempt to remember my dreams by keeping a pen and a pad next to my bed to jot them down. I guess it's down to how an individual does the interpretation though, and I suppose it could help some people. It's pretty much totally discredited though, in terms of any scientific evidence for the validity of the practice. You may as well 'read tea leaves' although tbh I never understood what that's even supposed to mean. But if anyone can read their own symbolism in their own dreams, I guess it could be helpful in some way.

I think it was one of those vivid dreams you get after stopping cannabis - cannabis kills dreamsleep stone dead. L-heanine on top is that is pretty good for intense dreams.
 
Love L-Theanine, seems to be benign or mild for a lot of people, I take 800mg at night and it’s pretty solid, but I stack it with 6g of Taurine, 3G of Agmatine, and 3grams of Magnesium Threonate (250mg or so elemental)

That will get me nicely monged and I’ll get 9-12 hours of deep sleep everytime.

The thing is with supplements you need to stack em and find the right dose and quality to obtain anything:

Next thing on the list is Apigenin, I’ve been having pushback from wishing to get Guanfacine on top of my prescription stimulant (but they are happy to switch me to Dexamp at a moments notice)

Apigenin has some GABA properties, so usually it’s for sleep but I want something to keep me chill during the day, I’m a pain the arse high strung guy.
