Will i see a decent government before i die?

What’s your point?

The question was how long do you reckon that’s a reasonable line to be wheeling out?

Hard to say - 14 years of austerity has left us with collapsing infrastructure and Truss almost bankrupted us. The water companies robbed the country for scores of billions - that needs paying off yet - that alone could take 10-20 years to pay off. The tories fucked the economy with brexit - thats cost us 100 billion, then they opened the borders Sunak was bringing in a million people a year.

Maybe another 15-20 years and you could start blaming labour for the shit we're in?

I do not have any experience about UK domestic politics, but it is interesting notion that we have reached a point where we are talking about concept of "far far right".

It reminds me of the concept of south bank of the rubicon.

So basically you’re saying that no one who is in government is culpable for anything for the next two decades?

How convenient.

It’s not something that’s relevant to anyone with a brain. We don’t even have any far right political parties that are worthy of consideration or have any support outside of a minuscule amount of lunatics, let alone ‘far far right’.

We have pretty centrist views in the UK, anyone that has presented as to the extremities on either side of the spectrum has been roundly rejected by the public.

Well if I spent 70,000 grand of your money and left you with the debt how long would you blame me for it? After 12 months could I just say "Its your fault now Cat"?

I wouldn’t blame you for it at all, I would blame myself for allowing you to get my 70k.

can you give example of far right policy they are advancing?

Tricky as they’ve never really made any firm, costed policies. They exist in the vague realm of “kick out all the immigrants and everything will be fine”. They make occasional announcements but as yet no firm manifesto promises.

Reform get a ton of airtime and they definitely count as Far Right.
They are clearly not a far right party. Solidly right wing sure, but they do not have any policies that would place them at the far right of the political spectrum. What would you say qualifies them as being far right?
