same as any other gig - in your socks, stomach, or folded into your undies waistband - have you never sneaked anything into a venue before?

the searches aren't gonna be that intensive, far too many people attending for that, they don;t care about your e tbh

make sure you drink water, especially if it's warm - and don't expect 1995! ( I strongly suspect if you see them near the start of tour it will be decent vocals and a loose band, and by the end of the tour it will be shit vocals and a tight band ).

And don't forget they're only after your £££...Let's hope you've got a genuine ticket too if you got it on the black market - couple of people I've heard of locally have been duped. Hope you have a great time

Yeah I seem to remember from previous searches that provided I wasn't obviously already hammered (got turned away once, but that was just to get into a pub) and as long as I, and whoever I was with looked like I / we were there to have a good time, rather than cause trouble, which was always the former, the searches were always very minimal. More of a pat down the sides for potentially concealed knives etc, rather than more intensive searches for drugs.

I used to sneak GBL in liquid form into gigs, although not very often, as something usually went wrong in a very big way, combining GBL with a night out, and I have no recollection of how I managed that feat.

Anyway, back on topic, if you want to make 100% sure, you could wrap your Ees in some rizla etc and then using a plaster attach them to your cock. No one's ever gonna touch that, and the Ees wont be going anywhere!

Tbh I can't remember the last time Liam Gallagher sounded anything but atrociously bad attempting to "sing" live. I dont think he's been capable since the 1990s, from what I've heard, but I might be wrong.

Still, he does have the attitude, love it or hate it, the swagger, and the presence, I suppose.

Thanks. Yea they will be looking for weapons and bottles more than pills. At least pills are tiny and can be hidden well. Could put them in a packet of polo mints 🤣
 
A mate of mine went the the first Oasis gig ever. The Broadwalk in Manchester. He only went because he was a friend of the girlfriend of the support act's bass player.

His review in it's totality 'They were shit but they did a decent cover version of 'I am the Walrus'.

I still think it the most concice and apposite review in history.

For the unaware, the drug dogs used at festivals are fake. Drug dogs are incredibly hard and expensive to train. Actual drug dogs are being used to detect explosives at airports, not to stop you from bringing twenty quids worth of drugs into a concert.

Really? There will be some dogs in the airport but not seen any at concerts.
 
I've seen them outside raves, they definitely don't detect drugs. They're probably used so the police can search whoever starts looking nervous.
 
Yea I know they can't search anyone and they probably want to search bags n things like that more than people. Also they want to take away bottles and such like
 
The first track from the first concert, sounding way better and more interesting and ballsy than I expected, plus decent vocals from Liam, also unexpected by me.

Not sure why I expected things to be crap, but it seems that is not the case. Strong opener at least, I will probably listen to / watch the rest when I get chance.

Still dont think I'd have wanted to pay £150 or w/e the tikcet prices were, but those are the going rates for stadium gigs?

errrr what you saying here young man, this was 29 years ago no?

they were pretty good live for 3 years or so iirc, in that basic way of theirs like but good energy and party nevertheless, and funny

have never seen them live in person though, apart from drinking at a nearby table to Liam and some of their roadies in a dive club in Cardiff once (they'd been playing in the city)
