I recently made a drug post In a sub reddit and was DM'd by a guy linking me too telegram. At first I played along to see what scam he was pulling. But Instantly he assured me he was legit and sent a menu with prices that are genuinely correct like £80 for a gram of coke etc.

He also spoke In UK Slang because at first I thought this was some Indian scammer. I asked for proof and he showed me pics & vids of special deliveries, Tele chats with the same packages.

I'm 60% sure he's legit but there's still some doubt.

Can anyone give me advice that's dealt with the same thing?

It's a scammer. They're all scammers. He is 100% not legit. Real dealers/vendors will never reach out to strangers on reddit.

Scam. Always buy in person and use cash rather than bank transfer. Well unless you are clued up on the dark web and crypto

Guarantee that every last one of them is a scammer or are working with a scammer. The only reason these parasites exist is to extract money from desperate people.

All the good drug subs on Reddit were killed off a while ago. I don't even know if I'd trust the mushroom subs there, but if it's done for microscopy purposes then I guess it's fine.

I'd say there are legitimate and fake vendors everywhere. both on the Clearnet, the darknet and even f2f deals is not pretty safe as you risk getting caught. We've seen cases where legit vendors sell stuff to teens on social media platforms like Instagram and Snapchat and some LGBTQ+ dating apps like Grindr. Reddit is no exception too. In my opinion, if you feel he's 60% legitimate, you can risk a small amount probably for just a small sample to confirm quality and to make sure everything is done right. If you can't risk a small $, then i'd advice you don't go ahead to order.

The odds of the nice stranger DMing randos on Reddit (reddit in particular is a den of scammers) turning out to be legitimate are astronomically low and more often than not when somebody takes the bait the scammer will then attempt to extort further funds from the victim by using their address as a means to blackmail them. I really wouldn't chance it.

the answer is no, unless you love being scammed most people approaching you to sell anything is trying to take you for a ride. that's my philosophy anyhow and in an unregulated market there is even less recourse
