Optimal Crack smoking with bottle or metal pipe

Want to understand optimal way to reduce waste with the tools i have.

Normal bottle with tinfoil screen.
-How many holes to poke? Everywhere or only middle?
-Should the foil form a bowl or almost straight?
-Heat as much as possible and inhale until cannot?
-How much ash? 1 fag? 2?

Metal "weed" pipe.
-One screen with very small holes enough?
-Heat directly as much as possible?
-Inhale very strong until not able to?
-How much ash? 1fag? 2?

General
-How much will be wasteful to smoke? (Cannot inhale all etc. Etc.)
-How long to wait between hits?
-Tolerance breaks? How long will suffice?

I do agree. My twin brother has lost control but started to get it back by putting real thought in to the habit.

-Small bowl is working well. Next test is to make a bit deeper bowl

-Heat as much as possible and inhale until cannot?

-Start with slow flame and calm steady sook. Take lighter away to check for flame. Keep sookin for 2 seconds after which put the lighter back and go hard. Keep in lungs for 20sec seems to be same affect as 40sec.

Half to 1 ciggy worth of ash is working. Will test with more once testing the bigger bowl.

This works. Additionally have used screens with bigger holes by stacking 3.
Stainless steel is go to here.

Have mixed feelings. More testing required.
Currently going with 2 methods. Start with low heat and slow sook after few seconds blast and go.

Or blast and sook like never before.

Less than 1 is go to here. Uses more ash for bigger pieces.

The place he resides sadly it is not possible.

Could you give rough estimate of shape and strenght? There are plenty of options to buy, however, experiences with glass are non-exsistent.

Does 7mm thickness suffice?
What to use as screen?

Edit... Clear/transparent glass should be the way here after some consideration.
