Stimulants How would crack compare to meth?

There's few drugs left that I haven't been able to try that I'd like to, one of these being crack. How would you describe the highs and the lows to a tweaker? Would it even be worth it? I've tried powder cocaine once and was very underwhelmed. It didn't hit me nearly as hard or for as long as I'm used to with meth.
 
I've been around a fair amount of enthusiasts of the rock, but haven't smoked it myself. Relative to even vaporized meth (worst RoA imo, shorter & hedonistic instead of as useful as oral/intranasal) it lasts maybe 5-10% as long as best, takes an insane physical and mental toll on people who use it, risks seizures to a much higher degree, and has a proclivity towards turning somebody's entire life into just a mechanism to smoke more crack. Meth can easily be a functional drug. Crack struggles to be.
 
Crack is dirty and short-lived. Meth is euphoric and has a half life like no other. These days you couldn't pay me to smoke crack. I was a crackhead for many years before I switched over to meth which truly saved me

I've used both for chemsex.

As someone who has been a heavy user of Crack cocaine for several years and also an IV meth user for about 9 months solid (albeit UK meth) I can honestly say that they are not the same at all Meth use destroyed my mental health so quickly - so ridiculously fast it was scary. In terms of smoking crack and smoking meth they are completely different drugs and highs - crack more immediate and enjoyable ime, you also need much less crack to feel it and smoking meth is much more subtle high ime. The crack high is intense for 2-5 mins and then wears off over 10-15 mins. I needed to smoke half a gram to get anywhere near a worthwhile high with Meth - hence the fact I shot it up.

It terms of crack - I would never recommend it to anybody. I won't patronise you but it destroyed my life and pretty quickly. It went from a social thing, maybe a few rocks with friends once a week to being a daily use and then also heroin within the space of a month or so I'd say. I wish I'd never came into contact with it. I found it much harder to say no to compared to Meth, I would go and put myself in situations to be around it and in danger in no time at all. It truly ruined me and my life - made life on life's terms intolerable so fast.

Sorry if this isn't the answer to your question and if it seems patronising, its just my experience and I'm trying to share whats relevant .

This basically. I became a crackhead in the true and stereotypical sense within months. The heroin addiction was just to help the crack comedown and to keep myself well - the NEED for crack is what turned me into a horrible person I am ashamed of to this day.

The chemsex was the driving force for my meth shooting. Crack came along as a chemsex thing but I did a lot more of a sexual deviant on Meth. I actually enjoyed the deviant chemsex on Meth though

Must have been totally shit meth probably, i remember being high af off 60mg -ish good quality meth with

Agree with your crack sentiments and as for OP's question well, crack and meth are probably as different as you can get under the 'stimulant' banner - apples and pears

Both are extremely taxing mentally, physically, emotionally, in any way you can image really though. Definitely a high a price to pay for some gratification

Yeah I would agee re shitty meth quality I was getting - then when I would shoot up the same stuff though I felt the best high I have ever felt in my entire life! Like truly Superhuman.
 
Being a long term meth user, crack feels downright depressing in comparison. Not that that's a bad thing, it's still controllable so it's good. Crack is a much smoother effect then meth and it's about 1/3 as euphoric IMO, while being a little more stressful on the cardiovascular system and the lungs.

As for how stimulating crack is in comparison to meth, I'd have to say it's about half as.

Meth lasts about 15x longer then crack too

I used to be a dedicated meth user, but there was still some times when I'd be craving a hit of crack. I'd just yearn for that depressing buzz.
 
Im the other way round, smoke crack never done meth as cant find a dealer of meth. I was a theif for alcahol and whores (no rudness meant) but crack i hold high as an awarness giver yes i have smoked than i should but i like it that much i cant theive for it as feel it would create bad luck, karma,juju and jinx my situation, i feel it is a mother plant of goddess earth, i know some people will find that some type of hippy talk but its true
 
To me when I IV meth I get a big rush, which tapers off to a very focused feeling im not sure d ever call a high. Its just a very intense rush followed by aa sexually driven focus that as time goes on becomes quite seedy and gross.

On the other hand crack is a big rush that is euphoric and very much a high and euphoric.
 
The first hard drug I did was powdered cocaine and I loved it the high was really good and lasted a decent amount of time. If you had asked me back when I was doing it if I was addicted to it I would have said no, but now looking back on it I was very addicted to powdered cocaine. Then my friend turned me onto Meth and ya I loved it way more. The intense rush and how long it lasts I loved the high way more then the cocaine. After that cocaine wasn’t as good for me. Then I did try crack and it was kind of underwhelming for me the initial rush was good but then went away to fast. I never did crack again after that. I did powdered cocaine for a bit still after that, but eventually I went to meth when I wanted to get high. I just like it so much better.
 
If I'd had access to meth (or at least that pseudo-meth) when I was amphet-sulphate bingeing in the 80's I'm almost certain I'd have been dead 25-30 years ago. Or at the very least plenty more ruined than I am.Phew.

OP fuck crack mate, don't waste your time. Nasty. You're pissed that powder coke doesn't last as long as meth, well...crack lasts 15 minutes
 
Crack is a fuck of a drug coz it feels awesome, once. For 10 minutes then more is pointless.
Meth is not as nice of a feeling imo but it's more practical as you dose, feel good for hours then are able to redose and keep feeling relatively good.
Don't even think about IV coke. That is literally playing with death if your doing it right. Sooo not worth any amount of euphoria you may get, and again if your doing it right you'll end up anxious, paranoid, depressed, feinding and still questioning did I do it right? Can I get a better result without dying?
Not ideal!

A big and proper shot of meth can feel good without feeling like you'll die or being disappointed you didn't have enough.
Also with both heroin and or benzos are necessary to comedown without feeling like you want to kill yourself. For me anyway. I'm a downer guy and will take pills and shoot heroin the whole time I'm either smoking or shooting whatever. I'm sure my body hates me during this process and I offer get pretty worried that I'm on the verge of a stroke or heart attack but I just had a shot of meth less than an hour ago so it doesn't stop me sadly.

I loved and was inquisitive with crack hits and sessions until my last wrap I scored 2.6g (possible+) steamrollered it all in one long chain smoking dragon chase then realised it wasn't worth every doing again I had no more inquestivity or high it was continually taking my cash so stopped, threw pipes in to the trash bin deleted and blocked my dealers numbers and told members of the crew I rolled with, that I had made my choice and stopped and won't be going back on it. And I have been clean one month and a week, stopped drinking alcohol and stopped all types of tobacco use and now eating proper food not just rice and stock/broth, hygiene is next to be properly mended and back to showering everyday will be soon, but first thing continuing on not going back to booze and shitty crack, I'm glad I don't smoke meth!
