Hello all.

Last month a girl messaged me on facebook because she liked my profile pics and I liked hers so we added each other on whatsapp. We constantly spoke for 10 days, we got on really well and we started flirting, we were so into each other! We arranged to meet up and then one day she blocked me on everything it was totally out of the blue and I didn't say or do anything wrong, I was hurt by it :(. Why do some girls do that? I don't understand :( Has she "ghosted" me?

but 10 days man..come on and u never met her. at least she is leading you on anymore.
it's a million times worse when they do it when it's been a long time and serious.

u got to understand the world has changed. Because of the internet and social media unless you in top 5 per cent of men now you aint getting anything decent. It's life now for a man.

If you are in the that top 5 per cent... ur gona be fine.

He’s got the stat wrong. It’s more like 20% of man sleep with eighty percent of women.

It just means women often choose the same sexual partner and a certain type of man is often chosen for casual sex relationships.

It’s not even a thing. If they ghost they were shitty.

You can't predict what people will do and hoping they will behave a certain way is a waste of time

You'll probably never know the reasons why but this girl isn't interested in you - she thinks what she thinks about you for reasons that are very likely to be beyond your control so try not to take it personally and just forget about her

And honestly it does not matter. How many time in our life do we give the key to our heart to someone that does not deserve it? Someone who deserves it will show respect, consideration, trust and a desire to add to the relationship. If not take that key back. The feelings come from within , not from the other person. It really is interesting how much control we have over our own hearts.
 
men and women do the same shit to each other.
it absolutely sucks when it happens but don’t let that discourage you in the future.
you caught some feelings and wanted it to go somewhere - totally understandable. the reality is, you don’t know this girl.. maybe that’s a good thing.
don’t allow someone you hardly know dictate how you feel or what you think of yourself. always know your own worth

I had a pretty similar situation a few years ago. Matched on tinder, she was into the same music and we had mutual friends. Everything was going good for yeah about 10 days, we made a few plans to meet, but they always fell through. On day 11 or so, I got the bright idea to tell her about my most recent DMT trip, where I was essentially raped* (somewhat willingly) by a female crystalline entity. While she didn't explicity block me, she might as well have.

trust me, we both laughing AT me.

In the moment, I thought it was an entirely reasonable thing to say, but in retrospect it was way too much way too fast. So yeah... just want to reiterate that sometimes in an online meetup, its not difficult to overstep comfort levels.

With yall having never met, I really think she was scared she would disappoint you in some way.
Rather than taking that risk, she just avoided the situation altogether. sorry,guy

The dating scene is very emotional. I hope that you meet the right person for you. It's nice to have kindness
and love.
There are so many out there and I am sorry that she ghosted you. Maybe she wasn't perfect for you anyway.
I hope you will find someone that is right. But I really wish for you to find someone who isn't totally self-serving
and capable of caring about you and who you are. And is always quite a great find and chance. Take care too.
 
To be brutally honest she was from the US and I'm from the UK so it wouldn't of worked. It was a blessing in disguise, she done me a favour ghosting me. I think maybe I dodged a bullet.

The love of my life blocked me too and I don't remember where she lives because I was high all the time and now I think about her every day and have a lot of suicidal ideation cause it's clear she's not coming back :(
