Opioids Transitioning from methedone to hydrocodone

Has anyone successfully transitioned off of methadone and be able to get high on hydrocodone or oxy again? I got caught up in using fentanyl, which sky rocketed my tolerance to the point where oxys wouldnt even work at all. I stopped fentanyl and am currently on methedone treatment trying to taper down and get off of it. I ultimately just want to reset my tolerance so I can go back to getting high on hydro and oxy. Is there an easier way to do this? Or a quicker way without having to experience wd?

I was on a 150mg/day methadone dose for almost 5 years. I finally beat it (well I cheated) transitioned back into shooting meth. I tried pain pills a couple times while on methadone. The methadone totally defeated any effects. I'm talking I didn't feel shit and I took a nice handful of Norco tens! It's hard to see, but do you really want to jump from opiate to opiate? I'm not saying you shouldn't, but for me it took 6 months to be able to feel norcos. Hopefully you let us know how it goes down. Best wishes

I had the same experience. Took a handful of norcos didn't feel a thing lol. Crazy.

I peaked at 100mg / day for my methadonebtreatment. I have currently tapered down to 65mg / day. Going down about 10 mg every 2 weeks or so.

Yes I do want to swap 1 opiate for another. I just want to be able to take some norcos or oxys every once in a while and enjoy a day off or 2, once a month. Scripts were scarce on the street after they implemented new restrictions and I ended up inadvertently getting hooked on fentanyl cause that was all that was available.

I understand the difference between being dependent and being able to enjoy taking some pills a couple times a month. Everyone is OK with people drinking alcohol, me I enjoy pills. Nothing else can get me to my ideal state of recreation.

I'll update this post again once I am officially off of methadone and try it out.
