You could put it in mason jars. Clamp jars with a silicone ring are best for aging.
Wine bottle with a cork, one further.

The one I got is Lindisfarne Spiced Mead. Not bad as noted :)

I used to live near the Wychwood brewery and the original Hobgoblin pub. Had a great jukebox and sold poteen under the counter if you asked nicely 👍

Currently drinking Brewdog Juice Shack. Dunno why so many Brewdog beers are on clearance at the moment but I’m not complaining =D

The real stuff?

A relative of mine would bring it back when he visited Ireland. They would put it into 7Up bottles (glass ones giving you some idea of how long ago ir was).

As a bartender told me after giving me a free taste 'treat this drink with respect - it won't treat YOU with any respect'.

That would be the one on St Aldates in Oxford then? I've also spent a lot of time in that neck of the woods and still work there occasionally (agency chef) and have also done shifts at the site that used to be the original hobgoblin.

Also used to occasionally drink at the one on the Cowley road, although that has since rebranded too.

Yeah - I went to college just outside Oxford and we drank in all kindsa pubs in and around the area. Good times ❤️

Currently drinking another Hobgoblin Ruby as it happens.
 
6 degrees north Hopclassic Belgian IPA. Tastes an awful lot like weissbeer. Which is to say very tasty, very refreshing.

EDIT: Now Black Isle Spider Monkey. Very yesty, slightly yeasty (in a better way than you’d think) and overall refreshing as a refreshing thing.

Quite possibly. Haven’t drunk Carling since in pretty much forever. Think it’s only 3.4% or so. I tend to mostly buy whatever is on offer. That was - and is a more reasonable 5% I think - so…

In related news, I am currently drinking Stella. Basic but, you guessed it, on offer =D

Also, why is it that everytime I drink vodka, I have this compulsion to talk bollox on BL?

It doesn't happen with beer, gin whisky or rum.
