Benzos Sublingual diazepam seems to hit harder and faster?

Hello everyone, I am currently prescribed 22.5 MG of diazepam a day, but have managed to wean myself down to just 10 MG per day.

This leaves me with lots of spare tablets, and occasionally I enjoy taking a higher dose to get that benzo high.

I find that I need about 40 MG of oral diazepam to get a high now, and it takes around 30-40 minutes until I feel them working.

However, I have found that if I take 20 MG under my tongue and let the tablets dissolve similar to how I would take a subutex tablet, within about 15 minutes I can feel the diazepam working and I only need half my usual oral dose to get a buzz.

So, I tend to go for sublingual now as it saves tablets and also allows me to not make my tolerance go sky high.

Does anyone know the bioavailability of sublingual vs oral diazepam, and why it would take half of my usual dose to get the effect that I am seeking?

Thanks everyone.

I'm not sure what the bioavailability of sublingual and buccal diazepam is but it definitely works and kicks in quicker via sublingual use and that is how I always use diazepam tablets if I get them.

It seems to kick in in 5 - 15mins if I use them sublingually.

Yeah, for sure mandatory that I put 10mg Valium under thy tounge.

I like the way it makes my tounge feel, then before I know it..I feel something.

I love Valium because of the taste and it lasts a good while BUT it's real hard for me to get fucked up on. Like sometimes I want a nice relaxing buzz with some godamn benzo euphoria..imagine the perfect window of inebriated and blacking out, it's where I want to be sometimes, like you said enjoying a couple extra tablets. But yeah pisses me off when I realize I am pushing 80mg and sometimes just do not feel it like I should...just like when you know 10-20mg after a long break should get you somewhere but doesn't.

This is my only complaint for Valium. Other than this, I think it's a much cleaner benzo high that should last all day similar to klonopin but somehow the high feels better.

for me it's almost as if Valium is a sort of Extended Release Xanax on top of a few mg's of IR Xanax, when the Valium buzz is working 100% with low tolerance that is..

What he said.. absorbtion and subsequently peak plasma concentration

Sublingual is nice if you can stand the taste. :ROFLMAO:
Can t remember a Benzo that tasted so bad, it couldn t physically be sublingual-ed.
The realms of Vitamin B1 or Ascorbic Acid under the tongue, please no.

Diazepam along with other s have a pretty good sweet taste.
Etizolam, also Nitro-substitution s due too the minty taste.
Alprazolam or Pyrazolam, those have a weird chemical taste.

Not that it ever deterred me btw. Taking em that way.

Yeah no Valium tastes like mafuckin candy under or the tounge. Same with the others. If these make you squirm good luck with some real nasty shit.

Have you ever chewed up your four-six 50mg tramadols and swallowed without water? Fuckin ughgahh - same sound and feels with mdma..actually probably worse..this is of course only one example.

Now if yall or some remember right..I stated and it used to be mandatory for me that I snort a piece of whatever benzo I may have, I have finally just stopped ✋️. And sublingual with benzos more now, but at the EOD I'd forgotten what, how many and whichever benzos just melting in my mouth and not even a 2nd thought.

I could see Xanax or Valium tasting bad to someone new to it all though.

oh boy this is the age of reveal and information... I am guilty I do it with Roxi 30's and they all of sudden started working again after 14.5 years like they titrated my dosage. my blood plasma levels are up. I do not watch the clock anymore, and physical dependence got better as well as pain level went down.

the shit works. this made it a hybrid route and the 86% bioavailabilty is great and all. But I know f0 out of 10 more medicine made it past the BBB and the affinity attachment to the receptors got better. and with changing the 1st pass metabolism a little because whatever I swallow is not getting that far down there like typical PO.

Yes, I've chewed some extended release tramadols to make them instant release. They stick to your teeth, and you have that awful taste in your mouth the whole day.

at least we are pushing boundaries on all gateway drugs at once to not be bias to any of them.
