Kratom Will kratom interact with anesthesia? Chronic user of currently 2.5gpd taken once.

If I go like 48 hours and do anesthesia while slightly withdrawing would that cause any issues or should be fine?
 
I've done this off of pure mit extracts before and it was fine. I was also housing ketamine beforehand, I just let my doctor know about the ket and the surgery went through fine.

Edit: Should add, I wasn't specifically in withdrawals, I have yet to experience withdrawals from an opioid, not sure if that's relevant to anesthesia or not but I doubt it.

My wife had several surgeries while using kratom. She just stopped that morning. Of the 3 surgeries she had there were no issues before or after anesthesia.

I too wondered so yeah. I do not think kratom is strong enough to touch anesthesia. Also one would hope the anesthesiologist, that already has to adjust a little different for people, will be doing his job.

Thanks I appreciate your reply I was afraid it may cause like an OD since I know things interact with kratom and I’ve had to literally taper down so I can begin blood pressure medication that kratom stopped me from having but glad I should be able to have this tooth surgery ✅
 
I'm having a similar situation coming up, and I think it won't be a problem. But I am a little concerned that the kratom use may make the post surgery opiate pain killers not work as well due to tolerance. Myself, I plan to cut back the kratom like a week before.
 
My wife was using 50+ grams a day too and she went through that. Those were some serious hip and bone surgeries too.
2.5 gr it’s very light, wouldn’t even make me sneeze if I inhaled it.

Also to get around tolerance, make sure you take the pain meds first, then take Kratom. At least that way my wife said it didn’t cancel out the pain meds.

And if this is just tooth surgery, it’s a real non-issue. I’ve had two surgeries and taken right after it when I had implants installed. However, I am not a guy that likes to be put out, so I requested nitrous instead of being knocked out. Worked like a charm.
