It was known, a friend lived the next island.
Before G, but rural/ bible belt and drug use go great together.
They use way more then the same aged group city youth.
And they get really addicted to it young, drive on it. On G ?
Before that Alcohol, but also on N2O. Car crashes are high here.

And mental healthcare in NL is worthless !!!
After 20 years they still don t know Xyrem = GHB, dimwits.
But you will get state custody when minor and admit your a addict.
So stigmatised for live, no proper medical/ mental care.
Out-placement of your family home put under state 'care'.

so they are closest to the source.

But i don t get that when quality drugs are available.
MDMA. Speed, good Coke G and Ketamine.
As the amount of on call street dealers here is astonishing,
who don t handle age restriction ok, or promote harm-reduction.

Still they massively go for 3-MMC, now 2-MMC as its banned.

But the GBL i bought more then 25 year s ago was, Foodgrade & 99.8 % [about] pure.
Wonder what specifications GBL industrial grade has to comply too.
Do you know the grade, have a paper with the analyses btw.
Obvious the standard is lower, never researched it btw so it might not matter.

But if it does and there is a certain % of pollution/ residue of the making proces.
i d be worried what, and def have it analyzed [free here] .

well where i recide now. The rates of GHB/ GBL addicted kids is still sky high.

Never went away in the bible belt, their youth only sunk deeper in the drug pit.
Add Ketamine addicts, Alcohol abuse and 3-MMC.
While they can get MDMA, Speed and Coke.
3-MMC after 4-MMC became a real hit for the 16 + group.

The OP post, not mine loved my GHB/ GBL.
Better then the rest and its WDs, compared to Booze.
Relaxed, and ultra short. But now i would take it, had my share.

A lot. Liters and liters didn t deal in it. No pure for self consumption.
Quite habit forming, loved it. left me functional enough to maintain work,
and a life. The 1.3-BDO Ketones sound good,
and EAB [or something sounding like it] too.
 
I also really miss GBL, back in the BASF technical grade days. I bought as much as I could afford before the ban, and it lasted me almost 10 years. Been missing it ever since. Nothings ever helped with sleep like G did, and now that it’s gone, I’ve switched over to alcohol, which is so much more damaging, and I had to quit benzos bud to tolerance (and lack of availability). I tried to make GHB with GABA, but yield sucked and it was too hard to set up all the glassware, etc. I’m no chemist, but didn’t seem sustainable, even if I were.
I’d never touch any GHB from drug dealers, not that it’s available in my area. It’s the same problem as nitrous. Anesthetic grade is clean, but the industrial grade stuff in whippet canisters contains heavy metals and fuck knows what else. I’m sure commercial GBL is the same. Pretty much all the substances I enjoyed are gone now. I really miss the 2000s to 2015. I didn’t realize how good I had it, and I should have hoarded more than I did. Can’t even get reliable street drugs any more. Fucking fentanyl and xylazine. I guess at least weed is legal…

I was really stupid when I got my hands on GBL and just assumed you could do it as a shot without a mixer (I did like a 5ml shot, not a regular shot you'd do with liquor). I ended up with first degree chemical burns to my lips, tongue and the inside of one cheek.
 
Oops. Went down fine when mixed with orange juice, and no need to convert to GHB. Tried both ways (GBL and GHB) and effects were the same. I think I used about 50 or more liters of GBL, and another 6 of bdo, stopped the day I ran out, no withdrawals - just regret. I swear, GBL fixed me. Slept well, stopped any mood swings with a shot, and no consequences that I ever was made aware of. I used at most twice a day (10 ml GBL split) and never got compulsive with it. Thanks, rapoes, for tarring my favorite drug with your brush…

Late to reply to this, but in 2012 I began using cathinones. Spent almost all of my senior year and went to the graduation ceremony high on A-PVP. That was back when new vendors sent samples and not knowing any better I asked for a A-PVP sample because it seemed to be the only real psychoactive that they offered. The bastards sent me 3.5g which is a huge amount of that stuff for a stimulant naive high schooler. Was enough to get me high all year and a couple of my friends high for a portion of the year as well as having some left over. I'm certain that I was the only one using cathinones in that high school at that time and probably likely the only teenager in that area, but who knows? I was able to figure it out at 16/17 so I'm sure that others have

I appreciate the information here! I used to buy GHB from this kid who turned out to be 17 when I was 19 in college, it was quite strange to think that high schoolers were synthesizing and selling it. He had a rolling lab in his car that was pretty ghettoish but interesting.
