Mental Health Coming off Invega/Xeplion (paliperidone) injections v. 10

Did anyone else’s face change after taking Invega? Idk if it’s just the fat cause my eyes have this crazy look to them now too
I have the same issue, its the poison messing up the body in whole, inflammation, heart pain, kidney and uti issues, that and a dozen more are officially listed in the side effects from this injection.

You will be shocked if you do some proper research into this poison…

Yeah ts should be illegal

If you haven't got TikTok yet I recommend downloading the app (don't google it and use the web version, it's really slow and difficult to navigate). I didn't discover it until about one year after the injections. I feel like I could have killed a lot of time on that during the worst of it because you don't have to think of something to watch. You just open the app and a video starts playing, if you don't like it just scroll to the next one. Youtube shorts is similar but the videos aren't as intersting. It seems to be mostly dance videos on there for some reason.

Hi
Hope I'm wording correctly and in the right place? I'm very concerned about my 22 yr old son who is ordered to get put on a CTO, he was on meth and raged and ended up on assault charges, so he was put in a mental health facility (16 days now) and started on paliperidone 9 mg injection last week and they want to give him another one this week before letting him go and he takes 25 mg Olanzapine nocte and he's saying he's feeling more and more depressed is that the meth withdrawal or the side effects of the injection or both. Please, any information or options would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It could be both. Why the fuck is he on more then the recomended amount of olanzapine and also invega? That makes no sense

Thank you for your response. This is all new to me. The meth destroyed him. He became very violent while on it. When he's off it, he's much better. I don't know what recommended doses are but from what I've researched 5-10 mg Olanzapine and maximum paliperidone is 9 mg in 3 mg increments? But, he said the psychiatrist said 50 mg??? I call the centre and they either won't answer or they don't get back to me...I'm so worried about him. It is good where he is as at least he's off the meth but it seems one extreme to another...they are treating him for schizophrenia but to me it's drug induced. I'm thinking that's why the high doses? Paliperidone has some really serious side effects...

Your son is lucky he has you… my parents pushed me to keep taking Invega even when I expressed how badly it was affecting me

I would advise don’t take any of that crap and just get him therapy.

If he's forced to stay on it, see if you can reduce the dose.

This is absolutely the wrong drug for drug induced psychosis. It's too harsh for something temporary, even in pill form. If you talk to someone at the mental hospital you should tell them he has no history of psychosis.

disagree meth psychosis is too severe and takes a while to recover from so antipsychotics are needed to bring them back to reality. Trust me I hate invega and I was given invega for 10 months for a simple weed psychosis but meth psychosis is a different beast.

I think I will graduate this community.

I fully recovered and learned many.

I even thank invega for giving me such a beautiful enlightening experience even though it was harsh teaching.

I am more than fully recovered.

I might come here time to time to give people hope but not as much as before.

I am happy and healthy, going for my bright future.

Hope you guys have wonderful journey too.

Hey guys, I’ve had Invega injections for around a year (monthly first, then every 3 months)

I was misdiagnosed and sent to psych ward by my ex who manipulated my parents too

Was smoking a lot of weed and drinking beer daily and was somehow emotional, yet never psychotic or having hallucinations or hearing voices etc…

I’m about 7 months off now, stopped weed for months, started again, then stopped again a few months ago because it doesn’t do anything to me anymore since the injections. Been a heavy smoker for 20 years, now on CBD

My sex drive has somehow came back, at least it is much better (daily wank vs once every 3 weeks before) but excitation isn’t as intense as it used to be and my load shot is rather weak (can’t shoot far away like before).

I don’t feel as depressed as when I was on that poison, much less anxiety as well, but anhedonia is still here, and I haven’t been able to experience true dopamine rushes. Alcohol does give me a light buzz sometimes and a feeling of “happiness” if you could call it that way, yet nothing close to before either.

Have you heard of stories of people recovering after so many injections? Started taking a couple nootropics (NAC & L-tyrosine) but don’t feel like it is making much difference

Haven’t been back on working out since they injected me. Memory and brain overall feels fried

Best of luck to you all

hi everyone. long time lurker here. i've been reading your experiences and finally decided to share mine.

it's been around a year since i was injected. i had severe akathisia and insomnia early on. i don't really have akathisia anymore but i still find myself pacing from time to time. my sleep isn't as good as it used to be. i don't really feel rested after a 7 hour sleep. also im still dealing with emotional blunting, brain fog and sore muscles. my cognition is slightly better than it was in the first months post injection though.

how many months off
