i'm not trying to convince people not to get them if they are convenient and they have the money, but if you want to save some cash, just make your own edibles... honestly cooking like a half gram of average weed in butter which is a great deal cheaper will be more potent than like 50mgs of thc edibles... my dispensaries charge so much for the gummies compared to flower... it's just not right.. i ate 40mgs of gummies. 30 was my usual dose and 40 is like barely noticable and i only do edibles once every couple weeks.
i was hoping the extra 10mgs would hit me... i dunno... i'm more into smoking than edibles. i haven't been cooking my own cause i have to move to federal housing and cooking weed is considered drug manufactuing at this point. would be nice if weed became federally legal so i could cook some weed... i dunno. i'll probably only buy gummies like a couple times a year when i have to move to smoke free housing... when i can't go out to smoke i'll just vape even though smoking is better... idk.
just something for people that haven't learned to cook weed that might be in a state where stuff is becoming legal.. i'll have to post this on reddit. i assume most people here already know that cooking your own stuff is gonna be cheaper... honestly though, the carts have gotten so much cheaper. edible prices really aren't dropping. with how much flower they use to extract the live resin they have, it has to be about the same amount of weed. only one dispensary has decent carts for a good price though. i'm pretty lucky to have that dispensary. they pushing the deals in my state but keeping decent quality.
i've already definitely posted about edibles before. made an RSO thread i could've posted this in, but if any body not on this site that is new to smoking wants to save some cash and has a place they can cook weed, it's a fun hobby.
