What drugs have you turned down? Regrets?

Heroin, very glad I did. Good friend of mine OD'd and passed away not even a year after starting. Knowing myself I would've likely keeled over before he did if I ever got hooked on that shit. Even tramadol felt like floating on a cloud of pure bliss.

The drug I regret not turning down the most? MDMA by far. It's given me experiences I could never dream of. But it's got me in a deep stranglehold. Nothing else scratches the same itch
Guess I should have done the same with H but honestly I would repeat it all over... Guess that's how we find our DOC or it finds us... I actually have a friend who keeps trying to advertise mdma to get me away from the downers.. I keep refusing and your comment is confirming my decision 🙏. Anyway I hope you can loosen the tightlock... 🍀🤞🍀

If there's one drug I regret taking the least its mushrooms. And that's a very high bar.
We are all different and our minds and even bodies work differently. And so are the reasons why we take drugs and the effects we want them to have.
I have an overactive mind and really don't want anything that enhances that. While I enjoy toning things down a bit.

I turn down drugs on regular basis when they ain't matching with my needs. I have even turned down weed many times.

But poppy pods are on my black list now-I got devastating allergic reaction once, my whole skin turned to like lizard scales and itched like hell. Worse experience than 98 % of my hangovers.

Not exactly turned down. But found a 40 mg wafer of methadone and returned it to a situation where it wasn’t needed and wouldn’t be missed. I don’t have any opioid tolerance at all, so that much would have laid me flat. However, I regret not keeping it in my emergency stash in case I get some horrible medical diagnosis and need it as part of a peace out kit. The doctors now want you alive and suffering as long as possible.

i also turned down heroin and cocaine.
because it wasn't the tight time and place and people.
i don't regret having turned it down then. but i guess i wouldn't turn it down today.

Haven't turned it down as such, but street phet is the only drug I've ever flushed simply because I was bored of it\

3 days in and I still have half the bag left, sorry mr Amphetamine, but our time together is over

I turned down heroin during my younger days loads of times until one day after a 4 day coke session all our dealer had was brown had a boot and 25 years later our love is stronger then ever

I turned down cocaine many times during my using days.

It just didn't do anything for me - it is a dopamine thing, Ritalin also was not effective and after many years I fall into the category of those who need the "release and blockage of reuptake of dopamine".

So it makes sense now.

Just cool to say "Nah, not for me thanks", to someone offering me coke for free.

so no regrets either to answer the thread's title.

Wow... Feels so sad to read... No offense at all - it just struck a nerve 😅

I had and turned down Dimethocaine with a lab report; later to hear it was AMAZING if IV'd. 4 FMA I gave to a fellow researcher as wasn't my thing. Crack; Meth (more because of the people associated), DOM I did not have time for so I turned it down, couple of the less euphoric rc benzos from the day pyrazolam rings a bell. Anything off the street labeled 'heron' without an array of tests. Turned down salvia extract, but not the first time. Uhh one of the 'non benzodiazipenes' fiorcet. (both had to due with price). Shoot to many to count really.

I really hope you will be able to hold your grandchild one day... The futility of it all, wanting shit that's doing us no good at a cost you can't justify... Those moments make me feel like the worst fool on earth... I have kids as well... And no savings at all. My mom saved for them in my place 😭. But that shall change...
