i think 'snort the liquid' can be taken off the table.
One benefit of nasal buprenorphine is increased bioavailability (around 60% nasal vs 30-50% sublingual), so ideally you only would need half of your intended dose. You wouldn't snort a strip but crush the pills.

He could do drops with an eyedropper. That’s how I use my opiate solution nasally. But I’m not sure how to make it into a solution. I assume the strips just dissolved in water for the most part and then you can just use that water easily, but I’m not sure.
I agree with the eye dropper idea, it definitely works well. Just dissolve the strip in a little liquid as possible.
For real though, I don't find snorting subs to be worth it over sublingual. I'm sure it's more bioavailable that way, but I prefer leaving strips under my tongue.

You just mix a bit of the strip in a tiny bit of water and snort the water. It works really well. If you have no tolerance you will notice even half a mg. There's no point in snorting any more than 2 or 3 mg because you won't get any higher. If you divide an 8mg strip into 4 2mg pieces and snort 2mg at a time you would get so much more out of the strip than putting in under your tongue. But it creates such a worse habit.
Suboxone is Buprenorphine and naloxone. The Buprenorphine gives you the good feeling and the naloxone blocks other opiates from working but it also block the Buprenorphine in the Suboxone from working if you have too much. That's why if you shoot or snort a whole 8mg strip it will do fuck all compared to if you just do 2mg out of the 8mg at a time.
I'm guessing you tried snorting the whole strip? If you do much less it will do much more
If you have an 8mg strip try snorting only 2mg of it.

Mixing a bit of the strip in a little bit of water and snorting it works. Try not to inhale too hard or it'll just go down your throat. I switched from strips to tablets for the express purpose of being able to snort them. I always got better results from snorting the tablets than snorting the film strips

Adding water to the crushed tablets works great, so I dont know why doing the same with strips wouldn't. I recall tho that sniffing sub led to major clogged nose. It was one of the major reasons did it for a couple days, then never again.
The slow steady ride of buccal sub is way better than what u will gett from sniffing the stuff to be honest

It was years ago when I tried it, I think it was like 1/8 of one (or less), I had a low tolerance. When I was prescribed them, sublingual only.

I ordered nasal misters from Amazon and used to make a potent Roxi solution. Hits wonderfully.
This was years ago and refuse to do it again. I need as much bioavailability as possible now so I dissolve them under my tongue.

I know when I was in jail here in Australia everyone who shoots up Suboxone strips just dissolves it in water and shoots it up without a filter, probably Becoz it's too much effort to get a filter in jail. I'm moving to New Zealand soon where they only have Suboxone available in pill form. I'm on the Suboxone program and will hopefully continue it after I move over there.
So I'm curious to know how do people mix up the pills and prepare them to use intravenously?? And also to hear how people best prepare the pills for snorting??
