I'm glad the initial akathisia has stopped for me. But I am so defeated in life with the anhedonia and emotional blunting.

It is a fact , too bad psychiatrists are so corrupt that they never report patient suicides from an antipsychotic or anti depressant but they blame an illness which they did not even have. Whenever I complained about side effects from invega the evil psychiatrist blamed schizophrenia. LOL I DONT EVEN HAVE SCHIZOPHRENIA HAHAHAHAHA. It is not even a real thing it does not exist , its just a label made up in the DSM5 by fkn psychatrists. Bojanas family know for a fact invega ruined her life and she was depressed because of it but her evil doctor will never blame invega but a mental illness which she did not even have. Ha ve you gotten a blood test for testosterone levels? I am pretty sure it was the invega that fucked mine. Since i have gone on testosterone my energy has gone through the roof and i feel great.

Also if its anhedonia other meds like stimulating antidepressants such as wellbutrin and MAOI's could be used. Stimulants like methylphenidate or even amphetamines could also be used but they have problems.

Do you react well to weed? A strong landrace African sativa with THCV like Red Congo or Durban poison could help.

No it is not a fact dont spread false info. Also schizophrenia is a very real and terrible mental illness. I think saying it doesent exist is demeaning to people that have it. I had a temporary psychotic episode and i can tell you for certain that psychosis is 100% real.

Totally get a blood test for testosterone. Unrelated i know but my friend is on methadone and that gave him really bad anhedonia that he thought was just depression. Turns out though that it was low test levels. So its definitely something to consider.

Bro I have anhedonia for 21 months now. Before Invega I never had anhedonia I would be playing video games, hanging out with friends , watching movies/tv , going to the gym, shopping, doing things that make life enjoyable but all that was taken away from me because of weed. I wish , i seriously wish I could go back in time to 2019 and never even knew weed existed. My life quality went from 90% to literlly 0%. nothing gives me joy. All I do is read the news and about anti psychiatry. Living life without pleasure is very fkn hard but I will have to get used to it. Its hard living among people who don't have anhedonia its like we are aliens to them. They wonder why we don't work why we dont do anything . Im just on disability from the damage invega did to me but I will eventually I will have to go back to school and find a job that doesnt require a brain cuz invega fucked up my brain beyond belief.

They have no way of testing schizophrenia therefore it is not real and made up by a bunch of failures who couldnt pursue orthopedic surgery or neurosurgery instead they picked the "easiest" and least verifiable medicine ever. I even read a story of a 12 year old going to a doctor cuz he was hearing voices and he was diagnosed with schizophrenia and guess fkn what? , he just had an a very talkative inner monologue that he didnt know what that was. Depression is not real, schizophrenia is not real. I will never believe anything in the DSM 5. I believe emotions are real like sadness , anxiety but not made up labels by scum psychiatrist who will be left behind in the 21st centaury.

Oh shit do you not have drug coverage? Where i live in Canada the injectable testosterone is covered by provincial insurance so it costs me nothing. The oly thing i have to pay for is syringes and needles and thats because i havent thought of asking my doctor for a script for them. I think without insurance a bottle costs about $50 at the pharmacy. And ya it is for life sadly but really there is worse then having to give yourself a injection of test in the thigh every 2 weeks or every week really. I mean there was a time when i was shooting dilaudid into a vein every 3 or 4 hours so really injecting myself with test once every week or 2 aint that bad

I am very anti government as you can probably tell from my flag. Also i am not quiet about it at all. I do not like Trudeau at all. Yet what persecution have i received from any shrink here for it? None. My current shrink simply said ya thats great when i mentioned being left wing. He is interested in my mental state not my politics.

The idiots that run our psych wards are as you rightly stated idiots. The shrink i first had in the psych ward wouldnt give me any antipsychotics despite being obviously psychotic. Like why the fuck are you even working there if you are not prescribing anything? Wtf is the point of your job even if you cant even do that? The only reason i got treated in there is because i flipped out and got into a fight with another patient which then escalated into a fight wth security then my brother grabbed me and broke up the fight. When a nurse in there asked him to leave the nurse told him to call and complain about my shrink and get a new one. Thats the only reason i am still not in there wasting away on the psych ward.

I was also coming off morphine and clonazepam cold turkey and given not so much as a paracetamol for it. I saw alot more problems in the psych ward with people being undermedicated rather then over medicated. People like me that admitted to using drugs where usually given absolutely no meds.

I took wellbutrin, Zoloft, Venlafaxine, Trintellix. non of them have worked and I ordered parnate which I heard works best for anhedonia but all 6 doctors I saw refused to give it to me. Being so angry at them I ordered it from whatsapp from some indian supplier and when it arrived I took it and i lost sleep for 1 week legit no sleeping. I wouldnt say I went crazy but I just didnt sleep for 1 week straight. I took olanzapine and my sleep came back but i threw it in the toilet as soon as my sleep came back cuz you know , I dont believe antipsychotics should exist.

If i was given the choice between given nothing for psychosis and taking invega i would take the invega. However thankfully zyprexa exists so i dont need to take that shit.

Do not take parnate without a doctor monitoring you. There are so many drug interactions and food interactions with MAOI's and parnate is among the worst for it. Parnate is pretty stimulating so that could explain the lost sleep. Well that and getting it from a dodgy supplier instead of a doctor. If Parnate actually helped a safer MAOI like selegiline may be worth checking out.
