I posted on another forum today that I made it through the winter without falling over even once, and I did not even utilize studded tires. Did not fall over even on foot.
Because ice has largely melted, I started to ride ~30 mm slick tired fixie yesterday. So, after making this announcement, I started to ride back home from school. I made tight turn on road-and bike slipped below me. I made ukemi, zero damages. I was confused, as if I had hit black ice, when there was 2-3 celsius degrees, and had been a good while, and I don't think there was frost even last night.
But then the people who asked if I am okay, walked where I had slipped, and announced "yeah, be cautious, it is icy here".
How in the god damn fuck!?
