i tend to agree (with you here and with what
@tryptakid wrote).
during and after his first term, i cam to the conclusion that there was literally nothing that he could do or say that would make his supporters challenge their own view of him. people who genuinely think of themselves as patriots gleefully cheering on his wiping his arse with the constitution.
but that opinion has changed now in the aftermath of the election result and subsequent to his taking office. i think some supporters are seeing things he's saying and doing and it is making them pause. sure, some of it is simply people selfishly realising that they voted against their own interests without really thinking it through, but people are starting to say "
hey, wait a minute..."
this transition seems to be as much of a dumpster fire as the last one and we'll see where this all goes
