Bible verse of the day!! Get your daily study on.

John 16:33

"I have told you these things so that you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Isaiah 60:20

"The Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end."

Matthew 2:13-18

After they had left, suddenly the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, 'Get up, take the child and his mother with you, and escape into Egypt, and stay there until I tell you, because Herod intends to search for the child and do away with him.'
So Joseph got up and, taking the child and his mother with him, left that night for Egypt,
where he stayed until Herod was dead. This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken through the prophet: I called my son out of Egypt.
Herod was furious on realizing that he had been fooled by the wise men, and in Bethlehem and its surrounding district he had all the male children killed who were two years old or less, reckoning by the date he had been careful to ask the wise men.
Then were fulfilled the words spoken through the prophet Jeremiah:
"A voice is heard in Rama, lamenting and weeping bitterly: it is Rachel weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted because they are no more."

Luke 2:41-52

Every year his parents used to go to Jerusalem for the feast of the Passover.
When He was twelve years old, they went up for the feast as usual.
When the days of the feast were over and they set off home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem without His parents knowing it.
They thought He was somewhere in the party, and it was only after a day's journey that they went to look for Him among their relations and acquaintances.
When they failed to find Him they went back to Jerusalem looking for him everywhere.
It happened that, three days later, they found Him in the Temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them, and asking them questions;
and all those who heard Him were astounded at His intelligence and replies.
They were overcome when they saw Him, and his mother said to Him, 'My child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you.'
He replied, 'Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?'
But they did not understand what He meant.
He went down with them then and came to Nazareth and lived under their authority. His mother stored up all these things in her heart.
And Jesus increased in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and with people.

Psalm 89:6-7

For who in the skies above can compare with the Lord?
Who is like him among the heavenly beings?
In the council of the holy ones God is greatly feared.

Psalm 89:13

Your arm is endued with power,
Your hand is strong,
Your right hand exalted.

Matthew 13:24-40

Jesus told them another parable: The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.
But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.
When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.
The owner’s servants came to him and said, "Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?"
“An enemy did this," he replied.
The servants asked him, "Do you want us to go and pull them up?’"
"No," he answered, "because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them.
Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.”

Psalm 91:4

He will cover you with his feathers,
And under his wings you will find refuge

Psalm 46:10

Be still and know that I am God

Matthew 2:1-12

After Jesus had been born at Bethlehem in Judea during the reign of King Herod, suddenly some wise men came to Jerusalem from the East
asking, 'Where is the infant king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose and have come to do him homage.'
When King Herod heard this he was perturbed, and so was the whole of Jerusalem.
He called together all the chief priests and the scribes of the people, and inquired of them where the Christ was to be born.
They told him, 'At Bethlehem in Judea, for this is what the prophet wrote:
And you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, you are by no means the least among the leaders of Judah, for from you will come a leader who will shepherd my people Israel.'
Then Herod summoned the wise men to see him privately. He asked them the exact date on which the star had appeared
and sent them on to Bethlehem with the words, 'Go and find out all about the child, and when you have found him, let me know, so that I too may go and do him homage.'
Having listened to what the king had to say, they set out. And suddenly the star they had seen rising went forward and halted over the place where the child was.
The sight of the star filled them with delight,
and going into the house they saw the child with his mother Mary, and falling to their knees they did him homage. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh.
But they were given a warning in a dream not to go back to Herod, and returned to their own country by a different way.

John 17:6-12

I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word.
Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you.
For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.
I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.
All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them.
I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.
While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.

Roman’s chapter 8

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us

Ephesians 2:8-10

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Matthew 7:21

Not every one that says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Luke 6:41-42

Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye but fail to notice the beam in your own eye? / How can you say, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ while you yourself fail to see the beam in your own eye? You hypocrite! First take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Corinthians 1:18

“For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing,
but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God”

What is the key verse of 1 Corinthians :

All things are lawful ... but will not be mastered by anything,
or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you,
whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?
For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

Matthew 16:18

"I will build my church and all the powers of hell will not conquer it."

John 17:1-4

After saying this, Jesus raised His eyes to heaven and said: Father, the hour has come: glorify Your Son so that Your Son may glorify You;
so that, just as You have given Him power over all humanity, He may give eternal life to all those You have entrusted to Him.
And eternal life is this: to know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ; whom You have sent.
I have glorified You on earth by finishing the work that You gave Me to do.

Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people;
praise his holy name.
For his anger lasts only a moment,
but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may stay for the night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.
Psalms 30:4,5

Isaiah 35:5-6

Then will the eyes of the blind be opened
And the ears of the deaf unstopped
Then will the lame leap like a deer
And the mute tongue shout for joy
