That movie holds up even after 4 decades. A little over dramatic at times, but the humor more than makes up for it. One of those movies that never gets old, no matter how many times you watch it( within reason).

don't ask me, it was just something i noticed when i lived in germany.
they had even words for southern europeans which i (un)fortunately don't remember.
but now that you mention it, it could be something about the aryan thing. or just that people in southern europe do look different than people in northern europe, at least until they all began to mix in the 20th century or so.

Given an anonymous questionnaire I would give deliberately stupid answers.

In fact in high school( of the 3 It was, the one I graduated from) I put down that I was an Asian girl addicted to crack and heroin. It was an 'anonymous' questionnaire about drugs, tobacco and alcohol use among teenagers.

Not picking on Asians at all, I used the very scientific: Eeny meeny miney moe method to determine my race for that questionnaire.( I wasn't about to be honest anyways, I figured it was a trap because my persecution complex kicked in).

Just in case I made my answers so that they couldn't get me into trouble. Believe me I was sweating (till I said, forget about the truth and thought I would have some fun) also I wasn't a smoker then or a regular drinker but on that questionaire I was both ( not true at the time, but I did have small pinch of skoal fine cut winter green between my check and gums). Also I rarely drank, at the time. But that day I was a heavy drinker also. Not true till about a year and a half later.

Don't give a 17 year old boy, one of those anonymous questionnaires and expect the truth.

One problem, the majority of the people in those six counties want to be part of the UK.
