:sicko:

Good news is that I had energy yesterday to change my fucked up brake pads in rear to the front and front pads to the rear, so I can brake just fine while tearing up the rear knobbie too fast and using front brake as noise signal. I can barely lock up the front now, the pads have definitely got oil contamination somehow.

I have barely money for shit anything at all the rest of the year, so I need to try maintain upright position without studded tire, which is familiar to me, and often ends up to fall.

Hey Shinji, how are you, bro? What's going on today with the weather and other stuff, across the pond?😀
Good morning J :)

I'm great thank you. We've just gotten past a weekend of stormy weather (this one was called Bert) but today is looking like a crisp clear day with beautiful blue skies. I'll try and remember to take a couple of photographs if I go for a walk later on.

Besides that not much planned for the day I'll just be getting on with some housework and doing a bit of batch cooking.

How're things on your side of the ocean today?

Well the sun is not up yet, but probably cold, wet and miserable. But I am in a good mood. Got to pay some bills, maybe today or soon.

Even though a huge American holiday, Thanksgiving is coming up, I hate November for a number of tragic family related reasons. I will not go into detail about it. This is a month I try to forget.

All the yard work is actually not even close to why I hate this month. But I am thankful for many things.( actually very grateful, but I still hate

November).

I wish the weather was nicer, I could use a long walk. Maybe I will listen to Iron Maiden, Piece of mind is their best album IMHO. Flight of Icarus, The Trooper and even the rest of album is great.

I love the way bands use to at least try to make a great album all the way through it. Not just one or two songs. (Yes I know I only listed two songs, but those 2 really stick out).

I'm sorry this is a difficult month for you. Not much of it left now. I do tend to prefer the winter months though. Thing is when it's cold you can always layer up and find a way to warm up but when it's hot like it was on page 1 there's nothing I can do.

Didn't take that walk in the end. Fell asleep instead 😁

I agree many artists tend to focus on writing stand alone songs these days rather than cohesive albums. I always think of Metallica's first few albums as a great example of this with Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets and Justice For All having a strong concept unifying most of the tracks on the album. After that their albums became much more song oriented and I prefer the older albums tbh.

I went back and listened the the Blaze Baily Iron Maiden albums after we were talking about them the other day. Really repetitive choruses which go on for way too long many of the tracks would have been a lot better if they were 2/3s of the length tbh.

I'll listen to Piece of Mind next.

Yeah, after And Justice For All and maybe a little of the Black Album I loose interest. But honestly Kill'em All, Ride the Lightning, and Master of Puppets are really their finest albums.

I don't want to get into it but, the song Fade to Black, still gives me chills that I can feel when I listen to it.

It is hilarious on one of those first listen too, reaction videos this very happy, energetic, cute young lady( she is well into 20's and married)listens to it and is loving it and then is like freaking out when she sees/hears the lyrics too the song. I am pretty sure it was a genuine reaction.

Those reaction videos are great when black rap fans listen to Guns and Roses
Welcome to the Jungle. They almost always love and many are just in complete astonishment over it, some are just freaking out play air guitar. One black chicken was loving it so much she said she " wanted to pull the whole train when she saw the video to it. ( basically bang the whole band).🤣

I think it was Kathryn Layne reacts, or something and this was clearly or I am mostly sure she wasn't faking it when she starting freaking out about the lyrics to Metallica's song, Fade to Black. You can see her growing discomfort as the lyrics get darker and darker. I wish I wasn't technologically impaired or I would post it and this and few other great ones.

The people who first listen to Bob Seger's Like a Rock are almost always in disbelief on how great a song it is.

Great music transcends race, gender, ect..

Fade to Black may be my favourite Metallica song. It's up there. That solo and fade out towards the end is transportative.

I stumbled upon this YT channel a couple of months ago. She's a classical musician who does reaction videos to classic pop and rock songs. It's an interesting perspective.

You got to see the one reaction to Fade to Black I referenced sometime. I think Fade to Black is my favorite.

I hate the way so many people are dismissive about heavy metal/ hard rock. That is until they really sit down and really listen to some of the great stuff. Same with the younger generations and the really good classic rock.

Yeah there is plenty of garbage in any genre, but when they listen to the lyrics or read them, while hearing a great song they can't deny it and are in astonishment.

Land of fire is apparently about 0-10 celsius round the year. But obviously it is warmer in norther end.

Anyway, I suggest we tow chile to Europe and fasten it to Finland so I can also get some spring.

Or all relcate to Spitsberegen/ Svalbard, pretty cold but the temp rises twice as fast compared global.
Nio VISA needed, and the world seedbank in the hood. Just a idea. I hate cold. Love dark.

Bit windy innit?
it is yeah, just a little....was gonna pop to the shop

had a peek outside and saw a roof tile flying through the air and smashing into a wall at side of pavement, hmmmmm

so, have decided to forgo the shop and am making a coffee instead which I'll use to wash down a home-made edible (not distillate, made from 120mg excellent hash so am estimating approx 25-35mg thc plus other cannabinoids) - and then have a super-relaxing day

Why are there Humble bees,
feeding of the fluffy white flowers of my Fatsia s ?

It is past 15 december for facts. There were none of em,
when they count em in Autumn. And they should be dorm-ate by now.

Fatsia s, non native, normally rely on shit flies for pollination.
As it blossoms in the winter time.
Written in Dutch apparent outdated gardening books.

This year Wild Bees, and till yesterday Humble Bees,
were enjoying the nectar too. Never happened before.
Climate change is fast.

We have a ice yard they fill every year,
i think in five years its been used for ice skating one day.
