Castor oil purging: putting it into practice, observation and consequence
Last update: Oct. 4
The aim of castor oil purging (which is an intestinal purge) is to set the body's lymphatic network in motion to free cells from their "humoral clogging", enable better circulation of fluids, decongest the emunctory organs (liver, kidneys, lungs and skin), and free the digestive lumen and hepato-biliary system.
Castor oil's purgative action is made possible by its active ingredient, ricinoleic acid, which increases the production of white blood cells right where they are found, giving castor oil its astringent +++ character. This leads to a centrifugal release (from the inside of the body outwards) of toxin stases accumulated all over the body (but especially in the lymphatic system) towards our emunctory organs for elimination.
