They are I'm asking 10 euros for a or b and 20 for c (because it's on canvas not cardboard)

I Also thought a was the better piece I gave her a crooked/broken nose and it actually made her more beautiful!

Whats the size ?
In Paris I bought Spider-Discoman "El Mas Protector" bu Sivan 2001.
Size about postcard in a frame for 85,- euro. He/ she btw used ao cardboard too.
Glued on wood, to get it straight, lots of glue i see now, two types of string
[the web spidy got caught in dancing]
And a red disco/ glitter dancing charicature of spiderman.

Well worth as it was simple but OG and artistic value outweighs time and material costs imo.
10 sounds real cheap. even unframed, going by the pic which is a impression.
haven t seen it face to face, i d pay more and frame it, and on the wall.

Serious but I would need to see live, thats like visiting a musea first time,
and you see the real of what you know from a picture.

edit: B & C remind me of something i rather forget, not that i don t like em.

It's 42x 30 cm , 10 euro is the price won't budge on that.

You are welcome to come inspect it or you could take a chance and I'd mail it to you.

And I agree it's not about material or time they are just scaffolding that say nothing about inherent beauty.

I'm not a big fan of marvel , I grew up with French comics.

The Spider-Discoman was bought in a shop in the centre of Paris ! The guy behind the counter looked amazed.
When I bought it. Maybe he expected some bargening ?
Like your case direct from the artist would be way cheaper i imagine.
Btw i never tried to sell any of my work, a good friend does and the prices are amazing.

The size way bigger and she is estahblised. Add some presentation and add two 00-s.
Maybe more, seen way worse for way more. But these asrtists had to also pay for the showing space.

The broken / crooked nose don t show in the pic, what i ment with the diff between a pic and real.

Don t know the name i use comics for all, but don t mean the fluffy marvel shit.
Liked the 'ABC-warrior's' though and 'the Freak Brothers'.

But at young age strips were what i read/ watched and my preference, the more obscure the better.
Like 'The Ice Train' French, later made a movie from that was also quite good.
"Snowpiercer". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowpiercer

Got the strip, hopefully first print for 1 euro. Take what you find reasonable.
Anything bought in centre of Paris in a shop is at least 4 foulded i think.
It was framed though but really small.

Awesome you have the snowpiercer comic. I have the best of Enki Bilals work "immortals"
/la foire aux immorteles.

And I think most shop keepers are amazed when art sells it has no inherent use after all.

Almost 100 % certain i read it as kid. Along with Moebius ao: 'Are humans tasty ?', later ´AquaBlue' drawn by Louis Stéphane.
Also very good, all French or Belgian. You know a good Dutch one ?

We att had 3 channels on TV NL1 & 2 And Belgium 1, illegal TV pirates after they shut the signal down.
With much better films, sometimes a hearplay. And BBC on a good day. But you had to climb the roof to aim the antenna.
So risking your life, we didn t do that. So it was dependend on the wether. Men what a time.

edit: we had French and Germany too.
But they do a voice over in their own language,
which basickly destroys the pleasure off watching a movie.
And how they learned English, or didn t they [French didn t for sure].

That's the thing I don't know a single good dutch comic writer that isn't satirical / badly drawn grownup humor

Even Suske and Wiske is from Belgium. I read mobius too.

I know there was a magazine known as eppo but it was before my time and I think just translated foreign authors. And yes the Germans and French used to dub everything , really annoying when James bond has the same voice as something completely unrelated .They had a very limited amount of dubbers for all of France and as you mentioned it handicapped their youth in the ability to use English.

Eppo was cool, a left over of 'Sjors and Sjimmie'. Storm was in their ao.
My nephews were twice my age so had a whole collection.

Which from the 30-ties till '70 was a bit racistic 'White Sjors' and 'Black Sjimmie'.
Who hadn t mastered Dutch that well, thick red lips/ simple character.
Potraying him dumb. So they refurbished him in the 70-ties. Multi-culti my ass.

"Sjors saying to Sjimmie, at least you don t need to wash yourself".
Black/ white 🟰, not yet

This one took about 40 mins a few days ago! After a day of cold turkey withdrawal I got on methadone the first clinic refused me but this Spanish chick from wayback Maria recognized me asked if I was ok caused a diversion and slipped me hers. I wish I could thank her. Some of the most correct people I met in my life were heroin addicts. But anyway thanks to that dose I was able to go to another clinic where I was accepted.
So no more heroin for bingey!

Martin Lodewijk, how could i forgot. 'Agent 327'.
Love that butterfly @kiely superb shot, what s it called.
Is it common. We have only 3 kinds.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agent_327

Who also was a member of the 'Endatteme Jugband'.
Rotterdams/ national famuos Jugband.
Going to try convince the copright holder to place their music compilation on Youtube.
Its so good its should be imo, and not get stuck with.
Only 175 limited edition CD s they brough out, and will deteriate.

And there work will dissepate.

That's a good one too. ^^^ the wiki

The butterfly was just passing through maybe or it was just the flower. I misplaced the one that won the ribbon though sorry.
It had the whole butterfly. I think it was migrating though.
It sure loved that flower. haha.

- - - thnx bye

Remember that one
Well our conversation, and the fact Martin Lodewijk not only potraited 'Endatteme Jugband' in his strips.
He apperently was also at times a member, Netherlands most famous JugBand and Cartonist.
As soon as i find the copyright owner, i gonna try convince to place i on internet.
Seems such a waste if there music would dissapear. There are 175 CDs made, and the OG recordings.
All thats left, and copy s.

The butterfly too, nature especially for me planted 3 Butterfly-bushes. came up naturally,
two whites and a purple one. Karma at work,
like my hague of Lavender, right between the wall and tiles outside. Came from my neighbour.

But your Butterfly appears to be atracted to a flowering Maria Milk D/Thistle @kiely .
