Definitely! EADD session group chat be great. I'm in a session group at the moment & it's painful to read some of the posts. Some shockin bad drug knowledge out there!

Telegram is fucked; a few people still don't believe me when I say the reason he was let out is because he gave out the encryption keys and the servers toninterpol/NSA.

The problems with launching the chat:
1. I went awol
2. Session was slow and buggy after enough messages.
3. Telegram is a good compromise

Matrix/xmpp is probably the best alternative. It's encrypted and like telegram.

I've got loads of pm's asking for the link 😅

How about Signal? I haven't used it much except for texting but from what it seems to be a solid telegram alternative without the associated bad press/potential sketchiness.

I'm just throwing out ideas btw. I hate voicecalls personally.

I love signal, though it is probably CIA; if you use foss app Molly it encrypts your messages which Signal very much do not like, but I'm imagining they would just read them at the recipients end anyway who doesn't have Molly. 😂

Recently you can use Signal without a number and it does do group chats, but ime even moderately large videos of like 30mb crash my phone and it's just not really built for that group chat kind of experience.

The Signal dude was on JRE and he went on this really shady side tangent about the time he had to go sailing round the world on a yacht with a bunch of children without their parents for a year and how it "just came up" and he had no experience. Shady little cunt that dude. He also said his plan was to make Signal like a facebook type thing; I hope not!

XMPP/Matrix is great for this and encrypted. I'll set up a server tomorrow and fuck off in a week. 🤣
 
reading this whole thread and words Marko and Arral is very frickin strangely ...nwm I now just test the iMac 12.1 I putt an SSD and Ram so will try features from pc or other device or with this but I always give it couple days to see how everythings running. if good will do from here. carry on
