I've been on mega doses of tramadol and morphine daily since last Xmas.

I took my last dose today.

I have 200 x 15mg codeine pills to ease the withdrawals and some immodium to prevent my soul escaping out my rear end in liquid form.

What should I expect?

How many days or weeks until I feel relatively human and functional again?

Any tips or advice?

Tramadol i am unfamiliar with. Morphine: gabapentin or lyrica, Valium( diazepam) or other benzo but use only a couple of weeks and clonidine. These were suggested when I wanted off morphine and prescribed by my doctor( I was on Ativan and cut my benzo use in half with the Valium. 6mg of Ativan(lorazepam) =60 mg of Valium( diazepam) and I cut it to 30mg 10mgx3 times a day of Valium. According to the equivalent chart.

The benzos I have been on for years. However they can ease opiod withdrawals but if taken to long, it is hard to get off, of and long term use and suddenly stopping can be fatal.
The gabapentin or if possible lyrica, but should not be used long term due to rapid increase in tolerance and withdrawals if taken to long. Eases withdrawal of opiods
Clonidine, is a heart medication that helps with opiod withdrawals and other conditions.
Those three are comfort meds for opiod withdrawal and not sure what amounts.
I was and am still prescribed a fairly low dose of oxycodone without Tylenol also called acetaminophen or paracetamol.
I can't really give you dose info because I am not sure how much you would need. But try asking around. If you can get these, they should help.

Plenty of fluids and some multivitamins

I don't think Imodium and codeine pills will help you much ...you ve been taking " mega doses" for almost a year... Tramadol withdrawal is horrible...morphine ain't easy either ...
Me I would get diazepam for a week along with those codeine pills and then I would taper them too within another week or smthing.
Diazepam has anti seizure properties so that will help with tram withdrawal too
Stay strong

Add Gabapentin or Lyrica and clonidine, to what she said.
