this is extremely tricky because too many can cause this and addiction...

with etiz for example lowest amount you can buy at is like x10 pills which in terms of safety is (almost) too much to have on one person. say like hypothetically use for like 3 days then flush the rest.>?

no way it can be used for "emergencies" you'll just end up binging or smoking weed or taking something dumb like duster or worse to potentiate the high.

any thoughts anyone here ever managed to use blues or dpam (not xans fuck that) or others without this happening...
edit: less than a week then

Depends on several factors, but in a very general sense...

Rebound symptoms typically begin to occur after 7-14 days of consistent use. This generally includes mostly mental symptoms.

Full blown physical and mental dependence typically solidifies after about 4 weeks of consistent use, but gets worse over time.

The difference between cold turkey after 1 or 2 months, and 12+ months is quite substantial.

But again, this is all variable on specific drugs/half lives, dose, frequency, metabolism rates, natural disposition to anxiety, etc.

Take the half life x 5 and add three days, You can take multiple doses and then completely detox and never develop a physical dependence. Use for a day or two and then jump.

After over twenty years of sustained use I ended up in acute withdrawal and severe PAWS for 1.25 years.. yeah I stacked that on top of methadone withdrawal. It's true you can only feel so bad. Decade and a half down the road from that nightmare haven't looked back.

yeah there is rebound anxiety and then there is full HD nightmare madness. Which means that every nerve in your body is making you feel as miserable as possible. I could not really imagine any worse torment than that, it breaks your soul.

Thanks mate, this is good harm reduction.
Scary that a month on them can cause worsening physical and mental symptoms :S

and if you go far enough, you can get very persistent, possibly even permanent symptoms. Benzos have been proven to be neurotoxic. I can not myself recommend anything but 2-4 doses month, with the condition that you can control your use (it is realistically possible, unlike with opioids-but might still pose real challenge if you are chronically anxious person).

Most of tese rc benzos are less researched, halflives and such.
I read Norflurzepam and Flubromazepam have such long ones,
they accumulate even if you would only take a medical dose at night only.

Sounded shitty as since my insomnia, i not only used very much nightly.
Mostly shorter acting ones but when they run out. Onwosorst nights benzos did nothing then chill me a bit staying up tiil first sunlight. 24 mg Flubromazepam & 10 mg Deschloroetizolam nothing.

So i am on dangerous ground.

Are benzos more neurotoxic or a few years of continues insomnia, which is also neurotoxic. Whats the balance between the two, not sleeping gave me seizures, stopping benzos didn t, yet. Which is worst tried all teqnigues and herbs.

Went to dr s, know now Midazolam nor Quiatiapine/ Seroquel help. Neither do dr s, been in sleep centre a night.

Starting drinking first as cure mistake, it worsened it. So I opted for the Benzos just to prevent me from eventual death. And though startin irregular its seems to become more a night pattern, just didnt increase dose or abuse. But sounds like i am on a tricky path.

Silly rabbit 🐰 mmm be lucky you not anxious at all. Well i am about getting a fit.
No mo seizures, 3 was enough [stress/ insomnia induced].

edit: as the benzo party will end sooner then later. Its a temporarly solution anyway. Know how to taper, and stress is avoidable or manageable. Insomnia plain sucks.

this is also the reasoning why epilectics are sometimes prescribed benzos

seizure is essentially minor brain damage-taking benzos to prevent these incidents may lead to better brain health over the years.

Not only the end result, the seizures are damaging 20 years of chronic stress and the last 3 insomnia too. Lucky no Epilepsy was discoverd, actually they discoverd nothing which was a bit of a bummer. n

Nice, in the ER they had no clue what to do, so that seizure went on way to long.
The M.F. G.D. A.Holes didn t administer a monster dose of benzos, but fixated me and let me suffer an hour or more? Causing physical damage to, fixatin some who is hyper mobile 🤬

I am not the same me after it. Writing, memory, behaviour, mood/ temper and my personality. All changed, sleeping idem though way better now. Nothing anymore like what i was used.

Its the HippoCampus that goes first then the rest eventually caves in, bizar i played for cool 17 years, must have been the :bong:. Homeostasis helps. Btw being DIY tapered of Valproic Acid helped, as if it sucks the soul/ live out of you.

That how it feels, and it doesn t require the feelable benzos, Clobazam/ Pyrazolam, which not even resembled a Benzo worked great.
To bad the availability was minimal due to shortages. Dr s wont prescibe benzos, nor neurologist, the days of RC s are ending.
And so will my self medicating period end.

Tried the Lemon Balm/ Passiflora, Melatonin, sleephygeine/ no blue screen and found only real freaky (non US) preferable based on.. real ghost stories work. Better then sports, drugs, art or music. Can t really make noise at night. so never tried, but listening doesn t.
neither meditating breathfexercise or slow motion martial art.

At least tomorow, i talk not to long till the the other participants [land lord] agree, silenced or are by mere words under the table.
A compensaion in form of 💰 would be nice. But not expected maybe a bit of respect.

Good night P.M., past midnight and not a glimps of sleepiness to feel. Maybe 12 mg Flubromazepam isn t cutting it.
Maybe i skipp it, the night.

Benzos affect people differently and thus it's impossible to give an accurate answer to the question of how long it takes to become addicted.

Thing is, even if you are disciplined with your use and avoid physical addiction, the mental addiction can develop in a very insidious way. It may even be that people who have been able to use and avoid addiction get more of a false sense of security or confidence and then the voice in the head tells you that you can get away with taking a bit more, or shortening the time between usages.

Long onset Flubromazepam, took it early but to no avail that and stress, fell asleep at last after 3 to wake 4 hours later. 7:30 morning.

Is addiction purely the physical thats dangerous, like booze. Is it as worse, Diazepam didnt cover Alcohol wd's at 80 mg. Covers only the GABA-a and knocks you out while still wd-ing. My hope is benzos are more forgiving, less receptor affinity's. Not so toxic/ available, not euphoric and can be tapered.

Alcohol so quicly becomes your third morning activity at your lowest point. Dont see that occuring with a Benzo, ok maybe Temazepam.

That sounds lovely. Eeeesh. I don't have that in me.

I went many years without so much as 5 mgs of diazepam. I had some sporadic alprazolam and diazepam at times. But in 2012 or so etizolam became available at least I was a BL member. Growing up in the 70's we got pamphlets is school on "uppers", "downers" and "hallucinogens". Back then downers were barbiturates. So I was aware of a withdrawal from those. Benzo's came out were said to be safer. I totally lost interest. Before etizolam I think I was using mulungu tea to come down from trips at the end. Then etizolam. But I may have not paid attention if I was not a member of BL and stupidly taken an etizolam before bed every night. But I was aware of the hell people were posting about. As a result I only use benzos as needed, usually not more than 4 times a month if needed. Many months without any if not needed. I have bottles of diazepam around me from a pharmacy and I only took 15 mgs twice in 2 weeks and I am in the middle of a total total total stress fest. So I say if someone can do that then they can use them as tools. I would rotate gabapentin too the next week if needed.

So yes they can be used as tools. To me they take away from life, but there are about 4% out of 100% situations I need to take away from life. Sleep and extreme anxiety. I mean to me they are not recreational. So that probably factors in.

Honestly, I personally think a person has to work at getting addicted to benzos. I mean if someone thinks they help them that is good enough to take some morning, noon and night. Do that for a good bit and there you go. Here in 2024 with places like BL people should be informed on what doctors are too ignorant in their own profession to know. So I can honesty say BL made me say screw that to ignorant use.

Any drug can be used as a tool. Drugs are not bad. Relationships with drugs can be bad though.

Education on drugs on school fascinating, 80-ies were opposit.
On my midschool, bit of a anrchistic/ left/ hedonistic one, Cannabis got some sort of indirect approval.
Just by tolerating semi secret use, the shop was in between the two building and age restriction :ROFLMAO: non.

Toking in the Botanical Garden with the Caretaker and a older young guy that was there ... most of the times.
Remember him showing the scars he said where from burns of fallen pieces of Polm [hash].
And the tour through the garden with the caretaker talking bout the plants and their uses latin names.
!7 years old. Golden.

The teachers, most were cool, played a band also on school parties and then got so drunk.
We didn t drink. But lets say i got hugged by my Rector, real cool guy, a lot at parties.
Never understood his slurring but it was obvious ment good.
My math teacher had a table footbal, lived next to the school and loved Weed, so that were good moments.
He wasn t a real good teacher, i thought but did end up with a 9.

Be careful with benzos I am allready in to deep now, 1-st time relying on it just for sleep. Since i got insomnia about 3 years ago.
And even nightly dosing what i atm do, is to much and will leed to trouble. Normal doses.
If i get a insomnia night they don t even work only relax me, and my Mulungu seems bunk.
But got some DeschloroEtizolam, not quite like but a milder same sort of pleasant Etzolam effect, longer duration.
But not ultra, and some Pyrazolam which is even more gentle and forgiving, but less sedating.

For the record I had felt back on reserves till yesterday, which ment Flubromazepam, which is reading the binding and halflive a beast.
And the benzos came in picture due to a stupid decision some time ago, to just keep drinking till i was addicted mental and physically.
Culprit stress and insomnia, but although feelin way better. Nartural would be nice to experience again. No uppers, downers or weed.

Rephrase only Weed and maybe herbs like Mulungu, Lemon Balm, Passiflora Incanatata. No upper/ downers

I seem to have a really strong resistance to benzos.

I’ve used etizolam at 2 to 4 mg per day for a month straight with zero withdrawal.

I’ve been using Valium and 30 ‘mg….sometimes for almost a month straight and can stop for 2 weeks and don’t feel withdrawl.

With opioids 3 days in a row and I’m fully dependent.

Good news as Etizolam to me clearly seemed to lack any compulsivness or physical/ mental WD. At least when dosed normal.

But reading this dragon benzo [i called Flobromazepam a beast and Imo its nothing in comparing to], Diazepam at least for you and maybe me the RC s i mentioned behave the same. But Diazepam is bizar took it 5 days [80-40-30-20-10] and 14 days after feeling it still.

I don’t feel any effect of diazepam beyond the day after.

I’m sure it’s in there because it’s got a long half life tho.
