After 8 long year's, i found the last tenants stash!!!!

So I'm just into my 9th year at the house I rent from my landlord. I heard from the neighbors that once upon a time there was some rifraf that lived in and outta this house. Nothing ever seemed awry but while working on reframing a double closet door today, I just so happened to stumble across the previous tenants stash. Before anyone gets too worked up, it wasn't THAT much. Where I'm from in KY everyone sold "30 pacs"....$30 worth of H. And in my opinion, if I had to guess, what I found is probably 3 or 4 "packs". The delimma I'm having though is this: if I've been here 9 years, then I know that stash has been here at least that long. So 1. Would it even be any good by now? And 2. Is there a way I can test it to be SURE what it is? It was folded in the patented "envelope fold" style (if you've been around the block like me you'll know what I'm talking about). I'd be half tempted to try it if there was a way to test it first. I'm on a really high dose of methadone too (225/day) so its not just that easy for to even get a buzz. It would take a great deal to get past that. Anyhoo..if theres any kind insight/info/knowledge/wisdom anyone can drop me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you all.
 
I'm not sure on shelf life of H but something tells me it's fine...make sure to buy a fentvtest strip from Amazon or wherever the f*ck they be.. and be careful.

Either way be sure to test it and while you ate at it, get some narcan and a friend to sit with in case shit goes bad if you do dose..
 
Maybe just stash it yourself for a great relapse in the future or for emergency....or give/trade/flip/ OR FLUSH it since you obviously on methadone..
 
It really is the wildest thing ever lol. I wasn't even looking for anything. Basically, I was in the process of running some new wiring for a little project I'm working on and I just so happened to look up at precisely the right moment. I could only see the end of the "envelope" sticking out from behind some paneling. Right then I said to myself, "There's no way that's what I think it is....." But sure enough, after very carefully opening the package, I was met with a very pretty off white colored substance. I've seen it just about every color. This really came at a shock to say the least.
 
I'm sure it probably still works, although maybe potency might have gone down a bit, but I wouldn't fuck with it if you've been doing well on maintenance. Exactly if you have a high tolerance, whatever buzz you get probably won't be worth it. Definitely check it with a fent test strip though, if you decide to go that route.

I don’t think that xylazine was around back then but absolutely buy fent strips and you should still get xylazine strips as well.
 
It's definitely still fine, I've heard of people taking 100+ year old heroin. Might not feel it over the methadone though.
 
It would likely be fine, maybe slight degradation to morphine. But is it worth it?

But once you’ve done it. Good luck getting the strength and gumption back to do the type of work you were doing. Sounds like difficult work and I’d probably start selling tools here and there and then one day calling into work sick to just not going to that job anymore to robbing that jobs trucks to some fucking jail time. Bulldhit. Idk. Maybe flush it. But I’d probably do it

Nah mate, to be honest, if you are on 225 mdone a day we actually can't expect great things here, even if that thing you found is good heroin, and we can't assume it is

yes.

iirc, you need to dissolve ALL of your drug into water to test it, but imo that would be good cause then you can take steps to purify it, even if no fentanyl.
