Harm Reduction Is it ok to take abilify, lamical and cocaine

I would say it's not advisable, but at least 2 of each these 3 drugs have been prescribed together before without apparently serious adverse effects (I mean, Ritalin and Abilify or Ritalin and Lamotrigine, etc), although I'm not aware of any information about combining all 3. Ritalin unlike cocaine does not have any significant serotonergic activity so the aforementioned scenario is probably not a risk, and it's dopaminergic and norepinephrinergic activity is just less severe than cocaine, so any other potential adverse interactions would be more limited.

That said, honestly, it doesn't seem like a particularly safe or smart idea because these are substances with somewhat complex pharmacologies, Abilify especially, and there could be unexpected interactions that are hard to predict.

"OK" is a relatively vague term though, I'm not going to say it's safe but I also can't see an obvious reason for it to be particularly dangerous, most likely Ritalin and Abilify will compete to bind to dopamine receptors, potentially just cancelling each other out to some extent.

This would be a best case interaction really, worst case is something unexpected and severe.

But Ritalin on the whole is a fairly mild substance, if you absolutely must do it, keep doses lower than you would usually go with and be very careful.

Personally, I would never mix Ritalin with coke. Unless it was taken as a small dose in the morning.
I’ve mixed adderall and coke together before, and it felt like my heart was going to explode. I had kind of forgotten about the fact that I had taken it that day. Not fun.

I don’t have experience with the others.. but a good friend took the same meds, and she would use with no issues. That doesn’t make it ‘safe’ though.

If you’re going to use regardless, maybe just take small bumps..and see how it feels for you?

Oh, I answered presuming "what about Ritalin" meant, "what about mixing Abilify, Lamictal and Ritalin", versus "what about mixing Abilify, Lamictal and Cocaine"... If I misinterpreted the question then my answer would be different.

Ritalin is mild enough that it might be "OK", as in, not EXTREMELY dangerous depending on other factors like age, general health, and of course... Cocaine dose. But cocaine is a dangerous drug in and of itself, and mixing with Ritalin will do nothing good except ramp up all of the inherent dangers of cocaine, so IMO, mixing Ritalin with Cocaine is mostly not OK either, no.

You will likely not get much positive effect from cocaine while taking abilify. I'm not sure about any interactions with lamictal though. Cocaine can also definitely exacerbate whatever mental health issues you are taking those prescriptions for as well.

All stimulants and psychedelics are blunted while taking abilify. You will get no euphoria from it, maybe just physical stimulation.

The physical stimulation is what is what i want really
I see. If that's the case, I think amphetamine would work more for these purposes. It's a better general stimulant imo. Without the cognitive euphoria and such, cocaine, kinda not very useful and the constant redosing sucks and will just damage your nose.

But it also looks like serotonin syndrome could be an issue. I think that would be more of a thing with cocaine, as amp doesn't really effect serotonin all that much like that. But I would still look into it more before attempting.

Can't speak on lamictal yeah but I've used amp and m-amp with abilify safely. Still works as a stimulant but yeah just the cognitive effects aren't very noteworthy

I wouldn't be able to actually call this "safe" of a "good idea" though I don't believe doing this one time is likely to kill you. I have to say, if you're taking these drugs to help stabilize your mood, then inserting Cocaine into the picture could easily derail any kind of positive progress you might've made. The truth is that, if you want to use Cocaine, an addictive and often quite destructive drug, you'd be better off just not even trying with the psych meds.

The medications listed, namely Aripiprazole (Abilify) are likely to blunt the more pleasurable aspects of the drug. My experience with antidepressants/antipsychotics is that they will blunt the effects of pretty much everything to one degree or another; Cannabis, Alcohol etc. Many of these drugs will also prevent you from experiencing full effects from the psychedelic drugs. Users who take MDMA (Ecstasy/Molly) while on drugs of this kind report not experiencing the desired effects from the drugs.

Case in point, I don't believe it will kill you. I do think there are many reasons, some listed here, as to why it's probably just not worth the trouble.

I decided against cocaine use, thanks for all the advice
