The new heroin in the UK makes me feel very trippy and doesn't seem to bring me down at all. It feels psychedelic not at all like an opiate.

I use quetiapine so don't know if that's the interaction. This new stuff doesn't bring me down from crack.
Pretty much all the stuff in London is doing this to me.

I really think this is the end of heroin in the UK and it's being replaced with synthetic opiates.

Or maybe it's just me

I had this experience a couple months ago, it was a relapse too so my tolerance was low and I totally lost the plot for an hour or two, and yeh if anything it potentiates the crack. Definitely seems increasingly difficult to get anything resembling good H in London/UK at the moment. In fact it was so unpleasant that i didn't bother again after that. It's getting super dangerous with all the nitazines, people seem to be dropping like flies. Be careful out there!

I was stuck for a good week, ended up scoring off some "Street rats" who I usually don't deal with & the gear had a Malatone taste.

My usual guy came back on on Saturday from a "holiday" & the Smack knocked me on my arse, I had to go take something to someone & was nodding out the whole 90 minute Train ride across the Midlands, I passed out on the Sofa & came round at 7am the next day.

Where is William S Blondin at?

Hey old man, let us know you are still alive sometime you fucker!!!
@blondin

If his gone apart from a very small few others who turn up now & again I'd say I'm the oldest & most continuous Junkie on here.
I should change my name to The Sailor & move to Interzone ;)

I cant nor want to see the facebook content (it is facebook, after all) but ZB is on constant, controlled and functional breakdown that lets him live FULL SPEED!

Time to get out of the game now lads, while you still can.

This is the perfect opportunity to get off that shit and become an alcoholic, like what I did in the great drought of 2010... :\

I remember that drought, how bad was it, what caused it, and how long did it last? Over here the heroin flow kept coming, but I remember my first and only time running into fent dope was right around 2010..

I got out recently, right at the exact moment that nitazines started flying. Can't say I'm not a bit smug about it either.

Nice one mate!! Try not to fall into the booze trap though.

Being addicted to a drug that is cheap, totally legal, available 24/7 in whatever quantity you want from absolutely fuckin everywhere, and socially acceptable, is a bit of a bugger to say the least.

@G_Chem

That drought was pretty bad and lasted for what seemed forever, but my memory of those days is somewhat hazy. The gear was cut to fuck with benzos, barbs, rosin, paracetamol, caffeine - all the usual suspects but even more so.

As for what caused it, we get the majority of our gear from Afghanistan as you no doubt know. But I can't remember whether it was due to a poor growing season, a crackdown on production by the Taliban, allied troops destroying crops, or a combination of all three. All I know was it hit hard, and was the straw that broke the camel's back for me.

Luckily fent wasn't a thing over here then, but a drought like that now would be catastrophic.

Thanks. Yeh have managed to stay clear so far, mainly out of fear. Alcoholism was what got me onto the H in the first place. I don't think i've got another bout of the DTs in me tbh. Hope you're doing ok with it, scares the shit outta me!

I must've just missed the 2010 drought! I got in the mix around 2011!

I just had a look at his profile page and he's not posted since May 2nd, but he last logged in last Wedndesday, so that's only 6 days ago.

Apart from that, I've not clocked his visiting / posting patterns, but I think he's more of an occasional regular, rather than a regular regular. If that makes sense. He's probably just got other stuff going on.

Ok stuff still around here in western edge of London but the only guy I get from is a friend.
Who would tell me don't bother it's not good.
Otherwise,it's tough out there I'm told.

Nothing great for awhile and expensive for this 7/10 max .

Cheap ?

Weed is cheap and Kratom, my prescribe amphetamines free. UK tax on liquor, let me guess. 2%, max.
'Lucky' basterds my only liquor store at one point refused to sell me. Which is really kind, angelic.
They just didn t want to see me go to waste. 🦸‍♀️-s PLUR, thanked them afterwards.

But its also inconvenient at times. Sticking to stopping or Beers.
Hard times, flip side of the coin of human kindness.

Cheap liquor, that will need some will power also indeed. Or bankruptcy.

Alcohol duty on drinks above 22% ABV is £31.64 per litre of alcohol in the UK

The street drinkers here tend to favour 500ml cans of strong 'cider' which is usually 8.5% ABV (presumably because alcohol duty is higher on products above 8.5%). These are generally available for sale as individual cans and cheap enough to buy with loose change

Prise and tax went up overhere simulaniously.
