Aphorisms

Would need to look up what aphorisms are.
Not enough examples yet to figure it out.

They didn't teach you about aphorisms on your home planet? I believe is it means: a saying that has truth in it. Many times they are funny or at least humorous.
Ok, I am not that sure either, but I looked it up.
A short saying: that usually has truth and is witty or humorous. Or something like that.

I guess they tried.
But I wasn't much into all of this language stuff.
Plus, I have a very bad memory for names and words I can't connect to something more visual or conceptual. Or an event.

So you never took any language or grammar classes in school?
I had to. But I was in a STEM school, so languages were between all kind of other stuff and not very important.
I always managed to get a C or even B
I never read any of those poems or a books we were supposed to.

STEM school?

Science, technology, electronics and mathematics.
Like I had math and physics and organic chemistry, anorganic chemistry, applied physics and earth sciences. Computer stuff at a time when it was still an elective in most schools (for us it was mandatory). Compared to little social studies and only basic language (German, English, French)
