Watching TV after MDMA comedown

This was something i was a little curious about. I took a good sized MDMA dose, where i was rolling pretty hard. I was chewing gum a lot, feelings things that are soft, and an amazing sense of euphoria. Telling my friends i love them as well as wanting to calling friends that were not present i love them as well.

The following days after i was really monitoring my self, seeing if i was going to have any effect of a comedown. I haven’t really experienced anything negative, just a few things. the first night i slept after i woke up i think i was clenching my jaw in my sleep. The sides of my tongue and a little bit of my cheek were a little chewed up and sore. i would think i would be a little aware if i were biting my tongue while on the MDMA, so that is why i was thinking i did it in my sleep.

The only other sort of emotions i guess i'm concerned about are while im watching tv. i feel fine generally throughout the day, no feelings of negatively or wanting to cry. However whenever i watch TV shows and a sad part comes on, i feel it’s a little easier for my body to have a reaction to produce tears. Not like sobbing my eyes out tears, just maybe tearing up and feeling sad for the show.

I know this can be just attributed to my general empathy, and sometimes i can just get really into the show and have emotions for the characters. I just feel that a majority of my life i wouldn’t cry that much, until about a few years ago i began to cry for certain things. With this said, i can maybe just attribute this crying to more of just growing as a person. It may just be a sort of placebo affect, of knowing that people experience some comedown effect of negative feelings and my brain is using that to help make the leap with the increased crying at sad moments in shows

Has anyone else experienced these feelings after using MDMA?

Thank you 🥰

You're crying because Douglas Bubbletrousers lost the Myer's Superfoods 600 at Tittlecrest Raceway in Guacamole County. Don't run from that dang race we all remember he stopped to shush a loud bird on the last lap and lost to Jorge TaDanky from the Channel 5 News Team! That same dang bird keeps hiding in my toaster and making faces at me. Plus what kind of double-live rascal does the Channel 5 Weather and races full time Ringus Cup?

We watched Bob Ross and in the morning Teletubbies ao. Perfect comedown program's.

What you describe I get sober on music or television, so its a normal human response. Seems like while in a comedown emotional music or television, we always avoided. Or depressing program's like the grown up new's. Better watch the kids journal in a comedown, much eassier on your brain.

Then again MDMA is a therapeutic drug and those tears come from somewhere. For me they feel just like pure pleasure, but then sadness. Relieving. But how you experience this?

Sogging a little while doesn't harm you, it imo feels refreshing like real laughing. But i would not like being stuck in it during a comedown, so just experience it for a set ammount of time or avoid these triggers. Maybe do a test if when sober this also occurs.

Comedowns cause depressive emotions. It's just a fact of life.

Try to avoid TV, that shit ain't good for ya... ;)
Did they tried watching Bob or the Tubbies. :) i believe these are the exceptions that confirm the rule.

Youtube is a absolute no, unless you can disable the ads. If so please share how.

Put on Interstellar and enjoy feeling several pounds lighter after you finished 😉.

I know what you Mean, and i actually like it. I eassily cry sober with a good movie/show so im used to it. But it's definetly stronger after MDMA ( or a psychedelica trip).

Have no idea what interstellar is but about to find out. Refine is it a movie or a program. Maybe youtube thing.

But yeah glad it got the weight of your shoulder, emotions are precious but also vulnerable. Glad t have em.

Interstellar is a reportedly excellent science fiction movie, but I've not seen it myself yet.

You're right about Teletubbies though, perfect early morning come down material.

But compared to the anologic/ real thing TelleTubbies this digital is kinda misleading imo decline. No its actually sick.

First thought it was a joke but is this for real, i mean real kids. Come on. As ex-raver it would long ago switched channels. To look at Ross or the Tubbies. And remain in the afterglow.
