Anyone else going to get all good and drugged up to watch the results of the UK General election come in on Thursday/Friday?

I have 3.5g of 4mmc and enough psychedelics in my stash to make Hunter S. Thompson jealous.

I've taken Thursday and Friday off work so probably kicking Thursday off with ~200ug LSD in the morning before heading down to cast my vote. Then a walk in the woods with my dog and back home to get on the Mephedrone with smatterings of DMT and probably 2C-B to keep things funky until all the results are in.

I'm a little apprehensive about the dangers of mixing these substances with Kuennsburg's political insight but since I'm fairly sure I'll be broadly happy with the result (Tory annihilation) I think it will be a good time. Will also set aside time for normal triptivities like music, gaming and life contemplation of course.

I would imagine that election results, especially the way they do it in the UK, would be dry and boring as hell on stims.

Unless you are really very into the whole subject and heavily invested in the result.

You're probably right about it being boring! I am very invested in the result though, not financially but I'm feeling a certain sense of hope for the first time in years. That's not to say I think Labour are perfect but the Tories have been in power for half of my lifetime and some polls predict they may not even be the second largest party.

I think the euphoria from hearing they aren't even in opposition would rival a fat line of Meph, imagine the two combined!

It's also my dogs 1st birthday on the 4th so she will be partying with me (she doesn't care much for politics though).

Lol, I think I would find this very distressing. I have enough general disillusionment with humanity already without being forced to think about how many people voted for Reform, or wondering how much Labour are gonna pander to Conservative-aligned factions and groups of voters, even once elected... as much as it will be nice to see the end of Britain's first oligarch prime minister. Enjoy though, I hope it's good news all round.

By how much they will win is the interesting bit for me.

I agree it's depressing how many are willing to vote for Farage and his racists but it's still a minority. There have always been far right wankers and there always will be.

I'll have taken the LSD fairly early in the day so don't think I'll be tripping hard after midnight, mostly gurning from the 4mmc. I can always switch the TV off if it gets too much!

Problem with it all is there is no fucking political solution. Only hope is for some kinda massive raise in consciousness in humanity that impacts on the greed/fear axis on a worldwide level. Having said that I'd massively prefer a Labour gov than a subhuman Tory one.

Labour will only get one term in power anyway unfortunately, due to the stupidity and credulity of your average voting Brit

First they insist upon photo ID (that's me out of the game). Then suddenly thousands of postal votes haven't been delivered (funny that).

I agree its not really a classic combo, I've done it before with 2cb as well and it went well. Definitely no 4mmc before the very tail end of the LSD and in manageable doses.. probably 50mg oral which feels closer to mdma than coke and shouldn't get out of hand. Knowing 4mmc it will probably progress to more later though never really found much of a 4mmc comedown though, much better than MDMA in that regard.

I reluctantly agree that Labour will only get one term, if they don't really pull it out of the bag in the time they have and the circumstances they are inheriting then I can see conservatives or a reform coalition getting in for 2029. That's a problem for after the 5th if July though!

I do find thinking too much about politics or daring to hope just makes me lose faith in humanity a lot of the time.

I'm not American but last time I dared to have some hope I was streaming Donald Trump losing the presidency back at the beginning of 2021 over in 'Murica, it seemed like some sanity might be about to return to the world, but obviously humanity just has some dark, deep-rooted self hatred and secretly wants to commit civilizational suicide or something... Pretty sure nothing good happened over here since then either except a blur of comically grotesque Tory gargoyles of varying levels of malevolence and incompetence and psychopathy, Christ I'm sorry I'm not helping the mood here.

Anyway... gotta have hope even so I guess. All is not lost yet despite the best efforts of some fucking cretins. It all went well in the end! Decided against the LSD and just went for 27mg 2cb then the 4mmc.

I did tune in to the news but found it boring pretty quick and got distracted with other things. Did manage to catch Rees-mog losing his seat though, which was excellent.
