Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are planar molecules that fit into the grooves of DNA and disrupt replication. A good amount of these compounds are used as chemotherapy drugs to kill cancers (they replicate faster and therefore become damaged faster), although bone marrow derived cells, stomach cells, hair cells, skin cells and other quick replicating cells will be damaged as well.

That's good to know. It tells me that, that design isn't the right thing I should be looking at. Thanks. I also assumed it might just be a souped up antibiotic.

I could participate a lot more if you posted the name and the structure instead of just the name.

Disclaimer : I'm making these molecules as a hobby. I don't know actually what I'm doing. Any of these molecules designed by me are to be used with caution and are to be taken as fiction.

I call this one Picasso. Its molecular structure is [2-3-methylenedioxy-4-bromo-5-methoxy-bicyclo[4.2.0]octa-1,3,5-trien-7-yl]ethyl-2-(aminomethyl)-N,N-diethyl-1-phenylcyclopropane-carboxamide.
