Can someone explain to me how a 10mg haldol lactate shot could still be effecting me 5 months later? Like does it not matter how much of this shit is injected into you for it to destroy you for a good amount of time. Every day I struggle to wrap my head around it because with invega I understood why I was being effected so long because I had gotten 234mg shots but this just does not make sense to me at all. For the record I felt “normal” 7 months after last invega injection. That does not mean fully recovered but “normal”
me when I received my first injection of haldol at 150 mg I recovered but my emotion and my libido in 2 to 3 months, but as I did not repeat the injection I was rehospitalized because I was under court order and as a result I had to do 3 more injections and I'm really having trouble recovering even though I feel like myself I still have a low libido and no emotions or maybe

Its exactly 4 months ago that i had my last Invega shot of 100 mg. Overall I'm still 5% better which isn't great progress in 4 months. I'm still anhedonic , still blank mind , still can't imagine , still fatigued , still the same weight and much more. I looked for the blood test to check Invega levels in the blood and no such test exists here in Canada so I can't measure exactly how much Invega is left in my blood. Using half life calculators I'm expected to recover between November and January but because i had 9 shots it may take even longer. I started taking Wellbutrin 2 weeks ago and this shit is literally a sugar pill , no difference what so ever so I'm probably going to quit that as well as it may effect my Invega recovery.

I'm seeing a common issue here. It seems that people who are struggling the most have had multiple shots back to back. In my case, I only received one shot each time, spaced out by 2 years or so, as I'd only wind up getting it when I was manic. I imagine if you had several in a row it would be a much bigger problem.

I’d stop the Wellbutrin

wellbutrin I imagine would not help with akathisia related to anti psychotics

I had 12 shots. That's a lot, but my optimism is high up. I believe even if you're years on it you can still recover

That's horrible. Certainly recovery is possible, just may take more than a year I guess. For me, longest I was messed up was about 8 months but that was from a single shot not multiple in succession.

how many injections did you receive? It’s true that it seems permanent but it’s not the case.
there are many people who recover completely after several injections, kaatrina received 6 invega injections, and recovered completely in 1.5 to 2 years
