I never knew he was an addict and he says he still goes to 8-9 meetings a week. I found this really interesting. I might have to vote for him in spite of his environmental views.

What do you all think of this clip?

Send ya to the farm!
Yeah idk if I like the idea to be honest because it sounds a lot like slavery. Then again the Salvation Army runs their rehab as a “work” program. Where you work in their warehouse or their storefront during the day and classes at night. I actually completed the program when I went but that’s because I wanted to be sober so bad and didn’t have insurance at the time so my options were limited. Fed you really great tho and clothed you so it was kinda perfect for me because I was homeless.

Do they pay? Or just free labor?

Yeah I mean. I got really good food, therapy, recovery classes in the evening, and a stipend that increases the longer you are there but it’s only like 10 bucks a week. 20 near the end. But I mean they clothe you (100 dollar voucher at their thrift stores).

So it’s not a paycheck but there’s video games multiple theater rooms. TBH it wasn’t a bad deal aside that they didn’t have transitional housing at that time so when you were done you had to go to where you could go and I had no one at the time so had to go back to the shelter and well I ran into people I used to use with and immediately relapsed.

Don't know, I agree with the other guy. Like do you get to choose weather you go to 'the farm'? Also he's an antivaxer and seems like he agrees with a lot of pseudoscience... We have Oprah's 'spiritual advisor', a used car salesman, or an antivaxer for the independent candidates. These three all seem superior to the two main, either of which is going to be the worst decision we've ever made in an election. We have a 34 time convicted felon or somebody who'll be diagnosed with alzheimers during his next term (tbh both will).

wild. That mf shoulda done some psychedelics or something before he got clean and killed his eagle :gun: 🦅. Gotta understand putting your fellow man in a box won't solve his problems ☮️ 🌈 <3 no men stay
Frl though I think this is the shittiest 'drug reform' policy I've ever seen. At least in North America.
