Hi I am Methamphetanonymous.

My title sortof lays in out. I have very little background in illicit drug use. I've used MDMA once or twice in college, shrooms and LSD at Bonnaroo 2012, and lost two very wonderful and close friends of mine in the early days of the fentanyl stage of the opioid epidemic that is ongoing. From age 19-28 I had a severe drinking problem; which I used to recover from social exhaustion and a sense of isolation that is common in suffers of Autism, which I was diagnosed with since I was 12.

I've used meth from last November to late April. I abstained for the month of May, and yesterday have purchased about 500mg of meth to slowly self medicate and ween off onto my Vyvanse.

As a grimly ironic parallel to the opioid epidemic, our country and this time the WORLD is in the beginning stages of a meth epidemic started the same way the opioid epidemic started; prescription amphetamine over-prescribed in the US. Given the rapid wealth disparity and my Millenial Generations ongoing processing that our adult lives will look nothing like our parents lives, meth is cheap and rears its head among the working class to boost them through navigating family- work- and social obligations. Performance enhancement. It is also favored by men who have sex with men for its slight empathogenic effects but primarily it's libido increasing effects as well as inhibiting climaxing so sex can last longer.

To my shock- this is barely reaching the radar of mainstream media. It is overshadowed by the opioid epidemic which now is seeing the majority of fentanyl overdosees also having meth in their bodies. Folks become un-housed, start using meth to work and fent to wind down, and become stuck in homelessness longer. The homeless percentage in the US SKYROCKETED as evictions delayed by COVID-19 began to occur as protections and unemployment checks began to revert to pre-COVID.

We are in a dangerous position here. I invite you to look at any message board dedicated to a major city. Anecdotes of more violent and disturbing interactions with the homeless are everywhere. And unlike Game of Thrones: Summer is Coming. Heat and core body temperature increases due to being exposed to high temperatures with no cover but a camping tent- and no air conditioning drastically escalates the free radical cascades which amphetamines (meth included) induce during DAT reversal in the brain.

Eventually a meth user will attack a victim of media sensationalism, a young white teen girl or something- and forces in this country may resort to widespread LEO violence and riot squads attacking tent encampments. I suspect forced mental health treatment centers will see a return nationwide as well in the next decade.

Please take some time to check out my writing at:

This is tough- because some of the writing I've done are not investigative journalism. They are my addiction to meth which I sought out while writing about it, and how it has effected mine and my wifes relationship as well as the homeless addict I met on Reddit and took in to my home. Obviously this is deeply personal reflection.

I was permanently IP banned and device banned from Reddit after evading a prior ban from r/meth to warn a curious posted being advised on the process of "shake and bake" of the low yield and immense danger of this synth.

Reddit has not responded to my emails attempting to be reinstated.

I would greatly appreciate feedback whether it be on my writing style, or factual inaccuracies, or even simply stories from your life that I might reference to illustrate the human element of meth. Nothing is a waste of my time as a navigate this strange new world. Feel free to reach out here or at

Haha it's just a reference to the Telegram bots that spam your inbox on Reddit. Figured there would be more crossover users, just missed the mark with the joke

haha you will quickly learn we think we are better than reddit, lol it gets shat on all the time here. Frankly it is my friend when I don't care what people think of what im saying, i like ther affordable knives and there audio mixing subreddit so w/e. They are notoriously weird about substances; go say your high AF on kratom or you are using it to "get through" .... but they seem more open to wide open illicit shit.....haha which is partly why i was paranoid you were from reddit!

Yep, I got banned from the meth sub initially because I told one of the mods that she was being irresponsible. Then the ban evasion.

Since then I've just kindof watched certain frequent fliers for my stories I can see how ridiculous Reddit is. I got perma banned from Reddit because I shamed one mod for shitty harm reduction.

I could tell this place was better when folks disagreed with me respectfully. That's how I learn new things. Not some N-Iso psycho calling me room temperature IQ lol
