Hi, I have taken 300 mg a day of tramadol for chronic pain, going on 11 years, recently the pain clinic closed down and of course I am tossed under the bus. My MD immediately went to work on liberating the tramadol from me, even though it was working very well all this time, the new paradigm you know, they just don't care about you the patient at all, its all about pleasing insurance and administrators.

My question is can bupe replace the tramadol for me, treat the chronic pain, and also neutralize the ridiculous WD symptoms from the tramadol, which seem to go on for weeks with me? I am told these modern caring physicians will gladly place people on bupe for some reason mystifying to me as its just another freaking opioid, how do you go about broaching the topic with the MD???

Thanks in advance....

Yes it should help at least partially with the w/ds ( I say partially because tramadol does things atypical of an opioid) and also help with pain. If you can quit without it that would be better but you know yourself better than we do.

I don't think you'd need much... 1 or 2mg may be enough.

As for getting it, idk maybe somebody else would be better suited to answer that question, sounds like you're from the US and I don't know much about the system there. My only idea would be asking pharmacies if they know any drs around that rx it or maybe just searching for a methadone clinic in the area, if you're willing to go that route. I mean you could just ask your doc too. I originally got it from a walk in clinic of all places.

Thank you, yes I am in the US, and its medical system has been intentionally blown up by the Marxists, who attempt to assert control over every single aspect of every single thing! I am just sick of the nonsense with the tramadol, for God's sake they told me for years it wasn't even an opioid, then later that it was the "safe" opioid.

When the clinic closed I knew I was screwed, and the medical provider has not disappointed, despite a decade of maintaining on 6-50mg a day for over a decade, they immediately decided to cut me off of it altogether, even got me down to 3 x 50 a day, which has been nearly impossible for me to maintain.

I just don't know what they will do, I have zero trust in the US medical system, its been totally inverted since the Marxists stole the 2020 election, you can feel the "political fervor" in the doctors and some of the nurses, which is disconcerting as this is a place where we should never, ever see political motivations, I just want to acquire a safe baseline, and have no idea how to even make the request, I suspect they will move against me in some vile new manner if I do....
