🌟🌟 Social 🌟🌟 What's the last film you saw? v. Why doesn’t Peter Jackson wear shoes?

Scanners: I really wanted to like this film. I inheired a copy, sat down in a good mood expecting it to be good. It is a cult classic, and I well aware of the fact that David Cronenberg movies are not for everyone.
However, the acting was mediocre and the movie lacked anything close to likeable characters or character development and was not shocking or scary.
The DVD box has a quote from the Los Angeles Times " Truly Horrifying".
Ah, no not at all and not because it is dated
and has a low budget feel. It is just lacking in everything.

Unforgiven (1992)

Some say this was the last great Western. It’s most definitely one of the more deserving Oscar winning films I’ve seen.

A true and righteous depiction of the old West. Gripping and visceral.

8/10

Tubing rules, free and no sign up: You can but I don't care about special features. They have a lot good movies amongst the 💩.

Tim Robbins annoys me.

I love the fact that you, whether or not you want to join :It is your choice but you don't have too. For free movies they are the best I've seen.

I don't have or need cable. Tubi, Pluto, and an assortment of other free sites no need to. Then I have money for cheap Used Blu-rays or dvds. Then the bárgin bin át Walmart.

Harrison Ford is in his 70's and what about the last one? The Crystal skulls or whatever?

David Spade was born in Birmingham Michigan(very nice Detroit suburb, near where I live 20-30 minutes away) Then moved to Arizona.
Unfortunately for him: When Chris Farley died(1997 I think) so did his movie career.
He just ain't leading man material. Seeing him with a mullet(wig) is and playing a white trash character is difficult to believe. Even though after his family moved to Arizons, at an early age: His family was kind of poor after his parents divorced. He seems too smart(in real life) to be believable plays.
I have only seen a little of it and I tried watching it but couldn't. I had cable at the time and I turned the channel each time.
It got a 9% rating approval from the critics on Rotten Tomatoes. However, it got a 63% audience approval rating.
So I am torn as to whether or not to try to watch the whole thing on a free movie channel or not.

The Creator (2023)

It's ok. Cool visuals. It has a few cool ideas and things going for it. However, the plot is ultimately just a rehash of stuff already done by various other movies. Hell, they even borrowed the dream sequence from Gladiator

There are also a lot of weird little plot holes, technological inconsistencies, stupid character decisions.... it's my pet peeve, but may not bother other people.

Also, when that one guy dies because of the main character's actions, I really disliked the main character after that point... lol.

lol calling Spade an “actor” is probably being overly generous.
