No one really knows. Some people say at johns wart helps… some people had the idea of donating blood but since invega injections are a crystal in your muscle it probably doesn’t work like that. At the end of the day, good idea to get your levels checked because then you might get an idea of why you haven’t recovered yet. My symptoms are really bad still at the 5 month mark and it’s because I still somehow have over half the therapeutic dose left in my system, really slow metabolism. At least I know why now.
 
I had a nap today and it was amazing. I spent my day laughing. I mean belly laughing. I’m a naturally goofy person and Invega dulled that part of me. I’m hoping this is a sign of healing. I remember when I stopped napping and laughing at everything… that wasn’t normal for me.

Ya shrooms, DMT and LSD and are kinda a grey market here. They arent legal but they arent exactly top priority for law enforcement either.

Really? I wonder is that why i got better quicker then alot of other people? So much for my former shrink and everyone who was in the psych ward saying weed was bad lol. It was actually the first thing my former doctor recomended for pain but i had already beat him to that.

yeah and you are maybe more sensitive to it, i have around 7-8 ng/ml in my blood still 6 months off a little less than you i can smile and laugh i can watch things and play video games and talk to my family, i can conversate with strangers and smile when talking with them, and only at 5 months off weed worked amazing for me im sure it would have even 3-4 months off, i hope and believe this is a very good sign of recovery
 
pre invega weed would cause intense euphoria, right after invega it made me feel worse and more brain dead, 5 months off invega and potentially if i tried 3-4 months it may have had a similar effect but 5 months off invega weed caused mild euphoria

i think you will recover it may take you a little long tho you said weed took a while to work for you it worked for me 5 months off beautifully possibly it would have had similar effects 3-4 months off but i tried 5 months off which i hope is a good sign of recovery this was a milestone for me
 
To those who have recovered. Are you on any antipsychotics currently? Are you experiencing anhedonia from them?

I read about you… i took invega 5 months ago and now im on seroquel 200mg XR. Experiencing severe anhedonia…. Do you think its still invega??? Or does seroquel contribute to it? Since i read recovery times are 6-8 months minimum…

Seroquel can definetely cause anhedonia any antipsychotic can really. It didt for mer but everyone is different. I started to recover after 3 months but i did not fully recover until about a year off abilify and invega.

i see no hope anymore, nothing has improved for me in 10 months off my last injections and some people are saying they are seeing improvement, i guess i am just the unlucky few that is not going to recover, very suicidal everyday..... nothing has got better, everything is so shit, i give up..... only one way out..

Try smoking weed if you dont already. I and others on here have benefitted from it as it seems to reverse some of the effects of invega and abilify to

How many injections did you have?. how long did it take for you to recover?

like i mentioned its been 10 months since my last injection and no improvement ....i had two in december first one was 100mg second 50mg 2022, one in january was 50mg and one in february was 50mg . my life has been hell. its been 10 months since my last injection and no improvement

i seem to be worse than other people....
, i have lost everything. ive lost my concentration, i cant think, or feel. i have no emotions. i cant concentrate on anything eg read,write,watch tv/youtube paint or listen to music. i cant retain information and struggle to communicate.

i have lost all my motivation, i cant do anything i cant even self care eg shower/brush my teeth, change my clothes. i just dont care about anything or anyone anymore, just no feelings.

i have no hunger or thirst. everything is dead, my body if not functioning anymore. my personality has gone, im dead inside.

on top of it all i cant sleep, i havent slept since november 2022 that was before i had the first injection. have to take a sleeping tablet now that hardly works.

i wish i had hope, i am just guessing some people are just lucky and i am also guess youth has a factor to it as well. i dont think i will recover from this its a nightmare, 10 months no improvements, when i hear that when you should start seeing some, now i know its all hopeless, so hell yeah suicide right now seems like my only way out.

I understand your despair, I know it's hard, I know that life is hell but you have to know that lots of people who haven't taken a lot of doses like you take between 1 to 2 years to recover, I noted each testimony for two years and I can assure you that before 2.5 years of achieving nothing and still lost, this molecule remains for a long time in the brain between 4 to 8 mounth and only after that your brain must recover its basic omeostasis and even if you don't feel it yet, your brain understands that there is a chemical balance problem and will do everything to restore it as much as possible, invega is a poison that infiltrates many important areas such as the mesocortical pathway , the mesolimbic pathway, anccuben nucleus, caudal nucleus etc, so you should still be patient and hold on, telling yourself that soon you will surely be able to start new things little by little, concentrate on the most basic things like physical sensations and the sensations in the stomach for example, if one day you start to feel little things you will see that you will regain hope but at least reassure yourself about the fact that the brain hates its chemical imbalance and that it would automatically want to recover its initial omeostasis, even if it is long and horrible I understand, it is not yet lost after 10 months of stopping, many people took more than 1 year before starting their reemission/reissue
