All the interesting rituals of picking a team. I am sure if we analyzed it only a few comport the stats in their head and make a logical pick. But I can tell you when you pick an underdog and they win the excitement level is high.

But I always wondered if there is anyone that just watches NFL and does not have a favorite team. Or a team they want to win more. Not sure such an emotional detachment would make the games enjoyable at all. But as I get older the whole "radical fans" things where people dress up and cheer their team seems beyond silly.

Totally. Yeah personally I pick in probably 60 seconds. I do follow due to fantasy but I sort of go off of momentum and don't really consider home field advantage. Been getting some lucky wins

^^ I like teams that their players don't annoy me lol. It's definitely at least somewhat emotional. For example I can't stand Trevor Lawrence (knows he's good) , Mac Jones (bitch), and also another genre: people who mouth off and are showy. Not to say I'm not IRL - I have been, I don't like it, I try to grow out of it.

Detaching is good for betting. For chilling with the girlfriend talking shit, saying how mahomes is too many commercials, it's fun. Coming off street life I came in like girl why are you judging these people you don't know lol. But it's all in good fun!

I feel like those super fans are paid actors hahaha
 
I always go with my quick gut reactions
then I go back and change only if i think of a really good reason to

works well for me most of the time , not so much this season

QBs and RBs are sorta slim this season so if they have good dudes in those positions I say pick it

But honestly the more I analyze it, the further from the process I get.
 
I changed to Chicago, made a $3 draftking salary cap showdown team that did horrible then fell asleep on the couch before kickoff

They were trying to hype up the game w kelce. Kelce was the best part though, but still unsuccessful for my view. But I left the TV on so maybe that counts toward views, probably, I don't see how not
