I think consuming any substance that crosses the BBB is risky during a pregnancy, I've seen split opinions on cannabis but it probably impact neuronal development to a significant degree

In the USA you get tested for all drugs as soon as you go to the hospital to the have the baby , if anything shows up CPS gets involved immediately.
