Nothing would end without Hamas because all of the things that was lined out multiple times in this thread that Israel is doing to Palestians would not stop. That is the point. You're missing the forest for the trees

How are Israel going to accomplish that? Burn Gaza to the ground?

You would stil have Hamas in Lebanon, Iran, etc.

Hamas isn't the problem, the problem is the way Palestinians are treated which create the conditions for groups like Hamas to thrive

Improve the living conditions and treatment of Palestinians and you take away the oxygen from the fire

Saying they just need to eradicate Hamas is the same as saying that the US just needs more police in poor African American communities to get rid of the gangs. Enforcement is not the issue, its the conditions and treatment of people that are the cause

Agreed.

The old 'wage war until we wipe them out' tactic hasn't really worked well in the past. Afghanistan, Iraq, etc.

cone on dude, you know better. this is not up for debate. they HAVE and DO target civilians. furthermore, they kill civilians willynilly with no regard even for hostages, and that's even IF they THINK they might get a hamas dude or two.

(there "could" or "might" have been hamas infrastructure in or under the refugee camp)

it IS working when we (the u.s.) are towing the line and providing billions, vetoing a u.n. resolution to call for a ceasefire, punish calls for bds, etc. etc.

yes unfortunately there are Islamic countries all too willing to harbor them

at least they'll be driven out of Israel, and Iran etc will be faced with the consequences of attacking a sovereign country.

ultimately Islam needs to look inward and decide what kind of religion it wants to be and what kind of ideas they want to promote

You need to consider the impact of western/US foreign policy. It seems like US liberals and conservatives have the same shitty oppressive stance towards the rest of the world
