My grandfather lived for years in an "International city" where there was a lot of different cultures living together, in the high school and everywhere public there were jewish, christians, muslims... My grandfather didn't like (never liked) muslims for several reasons, but when he talked about this matter and time of his life he always ended up saying the same: the jews were always asocial and did not hang out with anyone except their own.
Perhaps that kind of thing is a bit different in USA where there's a lot of secular jews, but it's not what happens in most places, specially in Israel.

If Israel wanted to, it could literally flatten Gaza over the course of a few hours. It doesn't do this. If Hamas had the means to destroy Israel completely, they absolutely would and have literally said as much time and time again. Its amazing that so many people cannot see who has the moral high ground here. Hint- its not the genocidal fanatical rapists. It's the side that easily could but chooses not to.
Israel is the side condemning the use of human shields by Hamas and warning residents before attacking a building being used by the terrorists. Israel absolutely has a right and a duty to protect its citizens from indiscriminate murder. And even when exercising that right, they take care to lessen civilian casualities. When is the last psytrance festival the Israelis opened fire upon?
There is no doubt that the situation for innocent Palestinians (of which most surely are) in Gaza is awful and I have deep sympathy for them and i hope they get to leave. But everytime the prospect of peace in the area becomes possible, it shouldn't be a surprise that it's the antisemitic islamic-fascist nutcases who shatter the deal. And in the face of genuine calls for genocide, what can Israel truly do? The Jews have seen where that leads and only a fool would imagine they would ever ignore that rhetoric again. Hamas knows this and it is they who create the situation faced by the millions of innocent residents of Gaza.
